feat(mcp): allowlist Grok's connector callback and document the Grok path (#2158)
* feat(mcp): allowlist Grok's connector callback and document the Grok path Grok custom connectors self-register through /api/mcp-oauth/register with redirect_uri https://grok.com/connectors-oauth-exchange-code/, which the built-in allowlist rejected with invalid_redirect_uri before consent. Add the callback as an exact-path BUILT_IN_PATTERNS entry (trailing slash optional, no prefix) with provider 'grok', named "Grok (xAI)" on the consent page. Tests: accept, foreign-host and other-path rejection, provider mapping, and a register route test for the Grok DCR shape. Surface Grok next to ChatGPT: a "Using Grok?" side door on the onboarding Claude step (one side door open at a time, telemetry step grok), a Grok row under "Other clients" in the API & MCP settings tab using ?client=grok, and sv/en strings for both. Docs: mcp-server rule, ARCHITECTURE, README, registry entry (install section), DECISIONS. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01EGbspj3hiNqvqTWZqdwysa Signed-off-by: Emil <emilmattsson14@gmail.com> * fix(mcp): cite X Corp's published Grok callback, test the consent label Review pass on #2158: the allowlist comment and DECISIONS entry claimed xAI publishes no callback and the value came from a live observation; X Corp lists https://grok.com/connectors-oauth-exchange-code/ as the "Grok (web)" redirect URL at docs.x.com/x-ads-api/mcp, and grok.com serves the path itself (slash form 308s to no-slash on the same origin). Reworded both to cite that. Adds the consent-page test for "Grok (xAI)" next to the ChatGPT one and a JSDoc on the onboarding side-door toggle. fix(security): audit remediation 2026-09-01: api_keys identity, viewer gates, OAuth binding, XSS, MFA gate (#2155)
* fix(security): bind api_keys to the caller, lock hash-as-bearer RPCs and provider token tables Security audit 2026-09-01, critical items. - api_keys INSERT requires user_id = auth.uid() again (an admin could forge a key for any co-member and act as them in every company they belong to); SELECT is own-keys-or-admin; a BEFORE trigger freezes the identity and credential columns against user-session UPDATEs. - rotate_mcp_refresh_token and validate_and_increment_api_key become service_role only: they match rows by a presented SHA-256, so a hash readable by co-members was a bearer credential. - validate_and_increment_api_key fails closed when the key's user is no longer a member of the key's company. - provider_consent_tokens and provider_otc: the DELETE policies collapsed to "caller has any team row" (correlated subquery on a non-existent team_members.company_id). All member policies dropped; service_role only, matching every existing code path. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): role gates, ownership guards and posting integrity in the database Security audit 2026-09-01, high items at the database layer. - One table-level guard, enforce_company_writer_role(), blocks the read-only viewer role on 55 company-scoped tables including through the 15 membership-only SECURITY DEFINER writers. Keyed on the JWT role claim so it fires inside definer bodies; no-op for service_role and trigger cascades. - company_members user_id/company_id immutable from user sessions; invitations can never grant owner; team_members gains a transition guard (admins keep non-owner role moves); companies team_id and archiving are owner-only and team attachment needs team membership. - Direct statements (current_user = authenticated) can no longer insert posted headers, add lines under posted verifikat, or post a draft with a voucher number the sequence never issued. Sanctioned RPCs run as the definer and are untouched; the engine's own draft-then-post shapes still pass. - create_document_version refuses viewers and foreign storage paths; validate_version_chain needs membership and loses anon EXECUTE; match_documents / match_booking_templates lose anon; cron maintenance RPCs become service_role only; the production-only seed_asset_categories is dropped. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * build: pin tsx as an exact devDependency instead of fetching it with npx at build time prebuild ran "npx tsx" with no lockfile entry, so every Vercel, Docker and CI build downloaded tsx@latest and its transitive tree from the registry with no integrity check, inside the build environment. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): refuse the viewer role on API-key and MCP write paths The v1 wrapper and the MCP company routing checked company membership but never role, and both run as service role, so a read-only viewer holding an API key could post vouchers and change settings through the API. Mutating methods and non-read scopes now return 403 ROLE_READ_ONLY for viewers on v1; MCP write tools refuse viewers the same way. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): stop serving uploaded SVG, XML and HTML as executable content on the app origin Uploads persisted the browser-declared mime type and the inline proxy served it verbatim, sandboxing only text/html; the storage proxy forwarded the uploader's Content-Type. Any writer, or any Peppol sender, could plant a scripted SVG or XHTML that executed on app.gnubok.se. - inline route: allow-list of natively safe types (PDF, raster images) served as before; everything else gets the opaque sandbox CSP. - storage proxy: octet-stream + attachment + sandbox unless the DB mime for the key is on the allow-list. - document-service: the stored mime is the magic-byte validated type. - logo upload: magic-byte validation, SVG refused. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): byrå brand logo upload decides the type by magic bytes and drops SVG Same pattern as the company logo route: the logos bucket is public, so a scripted SVG (or anything declared as an image) must never land there. The upload pickers stop advertising SVG. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): bind Enable Banking, Stripe and WooCommerce callbacks to the initiating user The callbacks resolved the pending row by oauth_state alone, so a victim who completed an attacker-initiated consent had their bank account, merchant account or store attached to the attacker's company. requireFlowInitiator() now requires the cookie session of the user who started the flow: no session redirects to login with the callback URL preserved, a different user is refused and nothing is exchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): guard tenant-controlled outbound fetches and surface the disabled rate limiter WooCommerce and Shopify syncs fetched a member-editable store URL with plain fetch() and redirect following under the service role, and the invoice PDF renderer fetched company_settings.logo_url unguarded. All three go through a new safeFetch() (public-IP validation via url-guard, https only, redirect: 'manual', body size cap) and re-normalise the stored host at use time. checkRateLimit() keeps failing open on hosted but logs one error per process when Upstash is not configured and exports isRateLimiterConfigured(). Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): decide the API MFA gate from server-authenticated factors, not the session cookie getAuthenticatorAssuranceLevel() without arguments derives nextLevel from session.user.factors, which comes from the unsigned sb-*-auth-token cookie. Deleting factors from the cookie made an enrolled account look like it had nothing to step up to, on every /api route and in requireAuth. Both gates now read factors from the getUser() result or listFactors() and the level from the verified JWT claim, and fail closed on errors. Page-branch gate hardened the same way. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): bind Fortnox/Visma, Gmail and Skatteverket callbacks to the initiating user The arcim-migration callback exchanged the provider code onto whatever consent the one-time state named, with no check of who completed the flow and no org-number comparison, so a phished Fortnox admin handed their ledger to the attacker's company. provider_otc now records the initiating user (migration 20260902100000); the callback requires that session and, after the exchange, refuses a provider company whose org number differs from the consent's company. The Gmail and Skatteverket callbacks enforce the same initiator check. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): BankID signup confirms the email before linking the identity Signup created an email-confirmed, MFA-exempt account for any address the caller typed and returned a magic link, so an attacker could pre-register a victim's email and keep a permanent BankID login into the account the victim later adopted. The user is now created unconfirmed, the identity carries email_verified_at NULL (migration 20260902101000), bankid_linked is not set until the mailed confirmation is clicked, and BankID login of a pending identity is refused with the confirmation re-sent. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): bind MCP OAuth redirect URIs to the consenting user and cap scopes A user-registered redirect URI was allowlisted globally, the consent page named no client, and all scopes were pre-checked, so one phishing link handed an attacker a full-scope key for the victim's company. Registered URIs now resolve only for the registrant or a colleague sharing a company; the consent page shows the client identity and redirect host; non-built-in clients default to read-only pre-checks; scopes are capped by the user's role (viewer: read only) at consent and at /token. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(auth): client follow-ups for BankID confirmation, callback mismatch copy and decision log - register client handles the new confirmation_sent response from BankID signup with the existing inbox screen instead of calling verifyOtp. - BankID login surfaces the email_unconfirmed explanation. - WooCommerce settings map woocommerce_error=wrong_user to its own copy. - Logo help text no longer advertises SVG. - DECISIONS.md records the audit remediation choices. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(mcp-oauth): literal SoD columns in the api_keys insert so the phantom-column scanner resolves them Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * test(logo): type the upload fixtures as Uint8Array<ArrayBuffer> so they are valid BlobParts Fixes the typecheck ratchet on PR #2155 and ratchets the baseline down by the one legacy error the change removed. fix(mcp): explain the Claude-side steps after "Anslut till Claude" and tick the checklist on a real connection (#2133) (#2147)
* fix(mcp): explain the Claude-side steps after "Anslut till Claude" and tick the checklist on a real connection (#2133) Lazy auth is by design: Claude lists the tools before any sign-in and the first company-scoped call answers 401, which opens the Accounted sign-in. Nothing told the user, so a "connected" status with an unanswered first question read as a broken connection (Axel, Discord). - Settings -> API & MCP: one sentence of expectation under the button, and the step-by-step guide link moved from under two disclosures to directly under the button. - Docs (connect-claude / anslut-claude): new "What happens after you click" section for Path A covering the connector dialog, the tools appearing before sign-in, the first-call login + consent screen, "ask again", and the "Required when the server asks" auth setting that only the manual path mentioned. - Hem checklist step "Anslut till Claude": deep link now carries client=claude-connector like the settings button (claudeConnectorLink), the footnote carries the same expectation line plus the guide link, and the done-signal is an unrevoked api_keys row minted by the MCP OAuth token route (OAUTH_MCP_KEY_NAME) instead of the in-app AI-profile flag, which never meant "connected to Claude". - Tests: claudeStepDone with/without a key row, deep-link snapshot. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01W7iJQwKiRTDWSMnRm4WM4L * fix(mcp): correct consent-page claims, stop the completion PATCH loop, count OAuth keys past RLS (#2133) Three skeptic refutations on PR #2147, fixed in one pass: - Docs (EN + SV): the consent page shows the company active in the app and pre-selects every scope for Claude's connector (founder decision 2026-08-26); it has no company picker and nothing to tick. Steps 3-4 of the new section, the "Read-only by default" paragraph above it, the sandbox note and the 10-minute test now describe Endast läs under Behörigheter instead. - Checklist completion: users with initial_setup_path NULL (skipped the books question, then imported) hit the route's "Välj först hur du vill komma igång" 400 and, with saving as an effect dependency, retried it forever with a toast. completionPatchBody() records path=migration when none was chosen, and a rejected PATCH is not retried within the session. - hasMcpKey: api_keys' SELECT policy is company-scoped, so the user client could not see companyless (NULL company_id) or archived-company keys and the step stayed open for the user who had just connected. The head count now runs through the service client with an explicit user_id filter. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01W7iJQwKiRTDWSMnRm4WM4L * fix(mcp): surface a failed OAuth-key count and reserve the marker name (#2133) CodeRabbit round on PR #2147: - app/(dashboard)/page.tsx: a failed api_keys count answered count null, which claudeStepDone read as "never connected". Throw to the error boundary like the settings fetch does instead of guessing. - app/api/settings/api-keys: reject a hand-minted key named MCP-klient (OAuth) (400 VALIDATION_ERROR): that name is the marker the Hem checklist reads as "connected to Claude", so a manual key with it would tick the step without any connection. Test added. feat(oauth): one-click consent: all scopes pre-selected, list collapsed, Allow above the fold (#1953)
The read-only default forced every agent-first user to scroll a scope
list and hand-tick write rows before the flow could work. Founder call
2026-08-26: pre-check ALL scopes when the client requests none (Claude's
connector case), collapse the scope list into an expandable details fold
('Alla förvalda, visa och justera'), and keep the Allow button visible
without scrolling.
Why this is defensible: every write is STAGED for explicit approval
before anything touches the ledger, each scope row stays individually
untickable inside the fold, the warn line states the staging rule right
above the button, and the grant is revocable under Inställningar >
API-nycklar. A client that requests explicit scopes still gets exactly
that set (RFC 6749 3.3 least-privilege unchanged), and the tampered/empty
POST fallback stays read-only.
CONNECTORS.md gains the share link (connectorName/connectorUrl params)
plus the starter prompt to pair with it.

fix(settings): derive API-key scope groups and tool counts from the scope catalogue (#1924)
The API-key settings panel carried a hand-copied list of scope groups that
had drifted to 24 of the 30 scopes in API_KEY_SCOPES: articles:read/write,
companies:write and the three reconciliation scopes were missing, so a key
minted in the dashboard could not call gnubok_create_company, the article
tools, the seven reconciliation tools or the matching v1 endpoints. The
per-scope "N verktyg" counts in the panel and in the API_KEY_SCOPES
descriptions were hand-maintained and wrong (reports:read said 18, actual
30; bookkeeping:write said 11, actual 22).
- Move the pure scope catalogue (API_KEY_SCOPES, scope lists, SCOPE_GROUPS,
TOOL_SCOPE_MAP) into lib/auth/scope-catalog.ts with no server imports, so
the client-side panel can bundle it. api-keys.ts re-exports everything,
so existing imports are unchanged.
- SCOPE_GROUPS becomes a list of { domain, label, scopes } covering every
scope (reconciliation has three), shared by the panel and the OAuth
consent page. scopeKind() replaces the ad hoc suffix checks.
- TOOL_COUNT_BY_SCOPE is derived from TOOL_SCOPE_MAP at module load; the
hand-written counts are removed from the catalogue descriptions.
- The panel renders groups and cards from the catalogue; i18n keys are
derived from domain and scope id. The "(REST API)" heading suffix is
computed from the counts instead of baked into the labels.
- New unit test asserts every scope belongs to exactly one group and that
counts equal TOOL_SCOPE_MAP occurrences.
- New sv/en strings for the articles, companies:write and reconciliation
scopes.

fix(mcp-oauth): api_keys.company_id nullable so companyless signups can mint their key (#1919)
Every fresh Claude.ai authorization died at POST /api/mcp-oauth/token with a silent 500: the multi-tenant refactor's dynamic loop (20260330130000, line ~250) set company_id NOT NULL on api_keys, and the companyless key insert from the popup-signup flow (#1814) violates it. Nothing exercised the real insert before (unit tests mock the client; no pg test inserted an unbound key), so repo, CI and prod all agreed and all were wrong. DROP NOT NULL, log the insert/rotation failures at the token endpoint, and pin the unbound insert + lazy bind on real Postgres. feat(onboarding): company setup from the conversation and POST /api/v1/companies (#1814 PR 3) (#1864)
* feat(onboarding): company setup from the conversation and POST /api/v1/companies Third PR of agent-first onboarding (#1814). Once connected, the agent can now set up a company end to end without the web wizard, and partner platforms can provision companies over REST. - create_company_for_user: service-role-only SECURITY DEFINER twin of create_company_with_owner taking the owner explicitly (service clients have no auth.uid()). pg-real test covers creation, role gating, unknown owner and foreign team. - lib/company/create-company.ts: the wizard's creation sequence (org number, TIC snapshot, BAS chart, settings, first fiscal period, tax deadlines, rollback) extracted into createCompanyCore; the Server Action delegates to it, behaviour unchanged. - lib/company/onboarding-input.ts: one Zod schema + planner for the agent/API paths; a VAT-registered company without moms_period is refused (a missing period silently yields zero VAT deadlines). - MCP: gnubok_create_company (two-phase: preview, then confirm=true; companies:write, company-independent), gnubok_connect_bank and gnubok_connect_skatteverket (status + the browser link, gated on bank_sync / skatteverket, search-only in the catalog), the "onboarding" skill, and initialize instructions pointing at it. - Consent page pre-ticks companies:write for an account with no company yet, so the setup does not dead-end on insufficient scope after signup. - POST /api/v1/companies (companies:write, dry-run aware) on the same core; scope map, registry, spec snapshot and the generated API skill updated. - tools/list payload ceiling raised 59.95K -> 60.4K for the one new default-catalog tool (documented in the guard). Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018wCdzRTatKiDByKB8hCNT6 * fix(onboarding): explicit f_skatt, org number when VAT-registered, EF first year ends 31 Dec Review findings on #1864 (Swedish compliance review): - f_skatt is required, never defaulted to approved (SE-R-005 risk). - org_number is required when vat_registered: the invoice momsregistreringsnummer derives from it (ML 17 kap 24 §). - An enskild firma's first fiscal year must end on 31 December and its start month is forced to 1 even with first_fiscal_year set, mirroring the wizard's own rule text (BFL 3 kap. 1 §). - POST /api/v1/companies no longer claims Idempotency-Key support (the wrapper only honours it on company-scoped routes). - pg-real: createCompanyCore's chart seed runs under the real service_role, which the unit tests could not prove. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018wCdzRTatKiDByKB8hCNT6 * test(pg): starter chart has 41 accounts, assert non-empty The service_role chart-seed proof passed the part that mattered (no 42501 from seed_chart_of_accounts) and failed on a wrong row-count guess: the seeded chart is a curated starter set, not the full BAS list. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018wCdzRTatKiDByKB8hCNT6 * fix(migrations): move create_company_for_user to 20260825120000 main gained 20260824170000_bulk_book_transactions_service_actor.sql with the same version while this branch was open; two files on one version abort every Supabase branch apply and the prod auto-apply. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018wCdzRTatKiDByKB8hCNT6 * chore(api): refresh spec snapshot and generated skill after rebasing onto main Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018wCdzRTatKiDByKB8hCNT6 * fix(mcp): flat create_company result, refuse localhost connect links, test hygiene CodeRabbit on #1864: the confirmed-create result was wrapped in the { data, next } envelope while its outputSchema promised top-level fields; it now returns the fields with next as a sibling. The two connect-link tools refuse to build a link when NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_URL is unset instead of handing a remote user a localhost URL. Tests clear mocks and the event bus in beforeEach. Not changed: the rollback already survives user_preferences.active_company_id (that FK is ON DELETE SET NULL since 20260331010000), and v1 error details stay in the surface's English developer convention. feat(mcp-oauth): let an account with no company connect and sign up from the OAuth popup (#1814 PR 1) (#1855)
* feat(mcp-oauth): let an account with no company connect and sign up from the OAuth popup Identity unlock for agent-first onboarding (#1814, shape B+). A person with no Accounted account can now connect from an MCP client, create the account inside the Connect popup and finish the OAuth dance. - authorize/token no longer require a company: consent renders a companyless variant and the key is minted with company_id NULL. - validateApiKey returns companyId string|null and binds an unbound key to the user's first company on the first validation after it exists. - MCP server: company-dependent tools and data resources answer with a structured NO_COMPANY_YET error; the company-independent tools still run; telemetry skips when there is no company scope. - /api/events fails closed instead of throwing for an unbound key. - authorize forces TOTP enrollment (not just verification) for password accounts with no factor, since the middleware skips enrollment for zero-company users; BankID-linked accounts stay exempt. - /login forwards next to /register; register, GoogleAuthButton and /auth/callback carry it back to the consent page (callback honours only /api/mcp-oauth/authorize, via safeReturnTo); /mfa/enroll hard-navigates to /api/* destinations like /mfa/verify. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018wCdzRTatKiDByKB8hCNT6 * refactor(company): move getActiveCompanyId out of the next/headers module lib/auth/api-keys.ts needs the resolver for unbound-key binding, but lib/company/context.ts imports next/headers for the legacy company cookie and Turbopack refuses that import on some of api-keys' import paths (the preview build failed). The resolver and CompanyContextError now live in lib/company/active-company.ts; context.ts re-exports them so every caller and test mock is unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018wCdzRTatKiDByKB8hCNT6 * fix(mcp-oauth): fail closed on a failed assurance lookup; enroll Back aborts instead of looping Review findings on #1855: requireAal2 let consent through at AAL1 when getAuthenticatorAssuranceLevel() returned nothing and a verified factor existed. Only a positive AAL2 answer passes now; a failed lookup and the inconsistent verified-factor-at-AAL1 case both step up to /mfa/verify. Back on /mfa/enroll with the consent page as returnTo went straight back into the redirect loop; it now aborts to the app. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018wCdzRTatKiDByKB8hCNT6 --------- Co-authored-by: Jakob Wennberg <311770904+jakobwennberg-oss@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat(mcp): speak spec revision 2026-07-28 (stateless core) (#1277)
* feat(mcp): speak spec revision 2026-07-28 (stateless core) Adopt the 2026-07-28 MCP spec revision on the connector endpoint while keeping every handshake-era client (2025-06-18 and earlier) byte-identical: - Accept per-request _meta protocol negotiation (io.modelcontextprotocol/protocolVersion); unsupported versions return UnsupportedProtocolVersionError (-32022) with the supported list. - Implement server/discover (spec MUST): supported revisions, capabilities including the extensions field, identity, instructions, freshness hints. - Decorate results for stateless clients: required resultType, serverInfo in _meta, and CacheableResult ttlMs/cacheScope on tools/list, prompts/list, resources/list, resources/read. - Validate the standard Mcp-Method/Mcp-Name request headers when present (HeaderMismatchError -32020); absence stays accepted. - Declare the ratified MCP Apps extension (io.modelcontextprotocol/ui) in capabilities; the widgets already use the ratified mime type and _meta.ui.resourceUri shape, so no widget changes are needed. - OAuth: include the RFC 9207 iss parameter on every authorization response (success and error) and advertise authorization_response_iss_parameter_supported in RFC 8414 metadata. Resource-not-found already used -32602 and tools/list ordering was already deterministic; both are covered by the new test file. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(mcp): Mcp-Name covers params.uri, base64 sentinel, version-header consistency Review follow-ups against the transport spec text: Mcp-Name mirrors params.name OR params.uri (resources/read), values arrive base64-wrapped in the =?base64?...?= sentinel and must be decoded before comparison, and an MCP-Protocol-Version header that disagrees with the _meta protocol version is a HeaderMismatch. Absence of any header stays accepted since this server supports handshake-era clients (spec-sanctioned leniency). fix(security): resolve the CodeQL backlog, three fixes and three documented false positives (#1225)
Triage of all 9 CodeQL alerts surfaced on main by #1223. None were introduced by that PR. Fixed: the compliance-review artifact now unpacks to runner.temp instead of over the trusted checkout (actions/artifact-poisoning, critical); MCP LIKE patterns escape backslash first, which was a real correctness bug returning wrong rows for any search containing a backslash (js/incomplete-sanitization, 2 sites); and the mcp-oauth consent form action is HTML-escaped (js/reflected-xss, not exploitable because WHATWG URL already percent-encodes " < >, but & is not in that encode set). Dismissed as false positives with reasoning recorded at each site and in DECISIONS.md: sie-export escapeQuotes, where doubling backslashes would violate SIE 4B, corrupt files in conformant readers and skew #KSUMMA under BFL 7-year retention; hashApiKey, where SHA-256 is correct for a 256-bit CSPRNG token and changing it would invalidate every live gnubok_sk_ key; and the DuplicateBookingDialog href, which is a DB UUID behind a literal path prefix. Regression tests cover both behavioural fixes, including the escape ordering. |

Fix/attributes config (#926)
* fix(git): pin LF on generated extension registry and vitest snapshots setup:extensions and vitest write these files with LF; with core.autocrlf=true git expects CRLF and flags them as phantom modifications on every dev/build run. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(security): enforce MFA on mcp-oauth consent and gate viewer storno route mcp-oauth/authorize renders an HTML consent page and issues 303 redirects that withRouteContext cannot express, so it kept raw getUser() and thereby skipped the AAL2 gate: a password-only (AAL1) session could approve consent that mints a long-lived, MFA-bypassing API key. Add a route-local requireAal2() step-up on GET and POST; AAL1 sessions redirect to /mfa/verify, BankID users are exempt. Separately, POST /api/reports/vat-declaration/rc-basis-gaps/fix calls correctEntry() (storno of a posted entry) but lacked requireWrite, so viewer-role members could trigger it. Add { requireWrite: true }. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(api): route transactions endpoints through withRouteContext Migrate the transactions routes off hand-rolled supabase.auth.getUser() onto the MFA-enforcing withRouteContext wrapper; add requireWrite on mutating handlers (book, uncategorize, attach-document, ignore, batch-match, create-from-document). Behavior and response shapes preserved; tests updated to the wrapper mock pattern. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(api): route SIE import and bank reconciliation through withRouteContext Migrate import/sie and reconciliation/bank routes onto the MFA-enforcing wrapper; requireWrite on mutations (import execute, create-accounts, mappings write verbs, link/unlink/run/mark-opening-balance). Reads (status, unmatched-entries) stay ungated. Response shapes preserved; tests added/updated to the wrapper mock pattern. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(api): route salary endpoints through withRouteContext Migrate salary employees and runs routes (plus ku, payroll-config, tax-tables) onto the MFA-enforcing wrapper; requireWrite on mutations. Personnummer masking/encryption untouched; file downloads (AGI XML, payslip PDF, payment files) keep their headers. Two payment-file GETs retain requireWrite because they stamp *_file_generated_at and previously gated viewers. Tests added/updated to the wrapper mock pattern. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(api): route report endpoints through withRouteContext Migrate the read-only report routes (trial balance, balansrapport, resultatrapport, income statement, ledgers, KPI, VAT declaration, salary journal, monthly breakdown, journal register, continuity check, full archive, etc.) onto the MFA-enforcing wrapper. All read-only, no requireWrite. JSON/XLSX/PDF/ZIP response bodies and headers preserved byte-for-byte; tests updated to the wrapper mock pattern. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(api): route invoices, skatteverket, agent and extension endpoints through withRouteContext Migrate invoices, supplier-invoices, skatteverket tax-payments, and dynamic extension routes onto the MFA-enforcing wrapper with requireWrite on mutations. The two NDJSON streaming agent routes (invoke, onboarding/stream) use requireAuth() directly (the wrapper can't wrap a streaming response) so MFA is still enforced. skatteverket payment-file GET keeps requireWrite (stamps a generated-at field). Response shapes and file headers preserved; tests added/updated. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(api): route documents, events, team and account endpoints through withRouteContext Migrate documents, events, kpi/preferences, vat/validate, support/contact onto the MFA-enforcing wrapper with requireWrite on mutations. account/password, team/accept and team/members use requireAuth() directly (user-level or pre-membership flows with no active company context) so MFA is still enforced. events keeps its dual API-key-or-session auth. Document retention guard untouched; tests added/updated. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(api): route settings and pending-operations endpoints through withRouteContext Migrate settings (api-keys, oauth-clients, booking-templates, counterparty-templates, logo, company settings) and pending-operations (commit, bulk-commit, reject, edit-before-approve) onto the MFA-enforcing wrapper with requireWrite on mutations. Credential-guarding routes keep their per-user ownership filters. Response shapes preserved; tests added/updated to the wrapper mock pattern. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * chore(guards): ratchet raw-route-auth baseline 119->1 after A1 migration Lock in the withRouteContext migration so the count cannot regress. The single remaining entry, mcp-oauth/authorize, is a documented exception (HTML consent + redirects, MFA enforced via route-local step-up). Record the campaign and requireWrite decisions in DECISIONS.md. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(vat): add eSKD momsdeklaration file export for "Deklarera via fil" Generate the Skatteverket eSKDUpload v6.0 XML file so users can file VAT by upload instead of typing every ruta into the form. Extract buildFiledAmounts() as the shared whole-krona source of truth (öre truncated per SFL 22 kap 1 §) so the XML file and the manual-filing PDF can never disagree. Adds the /eskd API route, an XML option in the report export menu, and the upload button on the manual-filing card. Strings in sv + en. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(vat): add 'vat_settlement' source type and update related components * fix(booking): adjust search input layout and enable autofocus * fix(vat): support 12-digit org numbers and adjust emission order for eSKD file * fix(migration): add 'vat_settlement' to journal_entries.source_type CHECK --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

style: remove em/en dashes repo-wide, add CLAUDE.md rule against them (#890)
Em dashes (—) and en dashes (–) had spread across comments, docs, tests, and a few UI strings, reading as AI-generated boilerplate rather than house style. Replaced each with punctuation matching its context: colon for explanatory clauses, comma for asides, plain hyphen for numeric/legal ranges (e.g. "21-23§"), "to"/"till" for date ranges, parentheses for paired-dash asides. messages/en.json and messages/sv.json were fixed by hand together to keep sv/en in sync. Left untouched where the dash is the functional subject rather than decorative punctuation: date-range-parser.ts's separator regex, charset-repair.ts's CP1252 byte-mapping table (and its test), the SIE encoding mojibake docs, generic-csv.ts's minus-sign normalizer, the agent system-prompt files that already instruct against em dashes, and a golden iXBRL test fixture compared byte-for-byte. Also fixes two bugs surfaced along the way: an off-by-one in ApiKeysPanel's scope-label split (a leftover from an earlier partial pass), and a charset-repair test that had lost the literal en-dash it exists to verify. Regenerated the agent atom seed migration (skills:generate) since 27 SKILL.md files changed. Added a CLAUDE.md rule against em/en dashes, with an explicit carve-out for the functional-dash cases above. Co-authored-by: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix(mcp): grace window + idempotent refresh-token replay for OAuth (#710) (#714)
* fix(mcp): grace window + idempotent refresh-token replay for OAuth (#710) OAuth refresh rotated BOTH the refresh token and the access key in one zero-grace CAS. Claude Code's MCP OAuth client fails to persist the rotated refresh token (or fires concurrent refreshes), re-presents the stale one, the CAS matches 0 rows, and the grant dies with invalid_grant — forcing a full re-authorization roughly every 60s in a loop. Regression from #392. Keep rotation (RFC 9700 §4.14.2 requires it for public clients) but add a bounded grace window with idempotent replay, atomic in one SECURITY DEFINER RPC: - Migration adds previous_key_hash / previous_refresh_token_hash (+ *_expires_at) shadow columns. validate_and_increment_api_key accepts the current OR an unexpired previous key_hash, with the rate-limit increment keyed off the resolved row id. - New rotate_mcp_refresh_token RPC: rotated | replayed | reuse_revoked | revoked | invalid. In-grace replay re-issues a fresh pair and slides the window so an actively-refreshing client that cannot persist the rotated token keeps working; reuse after the window revokes the grant family (RFC 9700 4.14.2 reuse detection preserved). - The refresh grant now calls the one RPC, closing the old SELECT-then-CAS TOCTOU gap. All previous_* columns default NULL, so existing keys are unaffected and the RPC return shape is unchanged (callers untouched). Tests: rewired the token-route unit tests to the RPC and replaced the test that codified the bug with a #710 regression (in-grace replay returns 200, not 400); added tests/pg/mcp-oauth-rotation-grace.pg.test.ts (grace accept/expire, revoke-never-graced, rotate->demote, idempotent replay, reuse-after-grace->revoke). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * ci: retrigger checks for #714 No code change — re-running CI. The Supabase Preview check fails on a pre-existing main-branch migration-history drift ("Remote migration versions not found in local migrations directory"), not this PR; pg-real (full migration replay) passes. Add/white label (#381)
* feat(branding): add BrandingService with default-preserving env layer Introduce lib/branding/service.ts mirroring lib/email/service.ts. Defaults match current gnubok values exactly, so production behaviour is unchanged unless an env var (NEXT_PUBLIC_BRANDING_*, BRANDING_*) or extension override (via registerBrandingService) is set. Resolution order: defaults < env vars < extension override. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(branding): route root layout, manifest, and PWA assets through branding service - app/layout.tsx now reads title, description, themeColor, and apple-touch-icon from getBranding() instead of hardcoded values. - public/manifest.json replaced by dynamic app/manifest.ts so PWA name, short_name, description, theme_color, background_color, and icon paths are resolved at request time. The manifest now serves at /manifest.webmanifest (Next.js convention for the metadata file route). The previous /manifest.json URL is no longer populated; nothing in core references it after this commit. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(branding): route email service and templates through branding service - resend-service.ts: From line uses getBranding().appName instead of hardcoded "Gnubok" in both the with-fromName and bare cases. - invite-templates.ts: subject, HTML header, body, plain text, and the team-invite variants all read from branding (sentence case in prose, uppercased for the styled <p> header). - consent-notification-templates.ts: signature fallback (companyName || branding) for both HTML and plain text variants. Defaults preserve the exact current strings ("Gnubok", "GNUBOK", "gnubok" in their respective contexts) so no email content changes for production. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(branding): route OAuth consent page through branding service The MCP OAuth consent page rendered for Claude Desktop / Claude.ai connector flows now reads the app name from getBranding() for both the HTML <title> and the body copy. Default still produces "gnubok" in lowercase prose, matching current behaviour. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(branding): route auth, dashboard, and onboarding text through branding service Replace user-visible "gnubok" / "Gnubok" references with calls to getBranding(). Touches: - Auth pages (login, register, mfa/enroll): logo src/alt, MFA TOTP friendlyName. - Onboarding (companies/new, invite, sandbox, WelcomeOnboarding, Step2CompanyDetails, NewUserChecklist, BankIdCompanyPicker, ArcimMigrationWorkspace): logo, headings, error/help text. - Dashboard fallback (companyName="gnubok") and settings (backup copy, ApiKeysPanel MCP connector name + login note, CompanyDangerZone, retention-notice). - API routes (support contact subject prefix, enable-banking consent email companyName fallback, AI inbox receipt-request appUrl, pain001 messageId prefix). - MCP server "open the gnubok web app" review message. - Salary/reports filings (AGI Programnamn, KU10 Programnamn, payslip footer, full-archive system metadata, SRU #PROGRAM line). Internal identifiers (cookie names gnubok-company-id / gnubok-invite-token, API key prefix gnubok_sk_, invite token prefix gnubok_inv_, MCP tool names, npm package gnubok-mcp, GNUBOK_API_KEY env name) are deliberately left unchanged — they're stable contracts that whitelabels must not break. Defaults match current behaviour exactly. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(branding): support legal page field-level swaps for entity and contact Privacy and DPA pages now interpolate appName, legalEntity, and privacyEmail from the branding service instead of hardcoding "Gnubok", "Arcim", and "privacy@gnubok.se". Page metadata uses generateMetadata() so titles also reflect the brand. lib/support.ts now falls back to getBranding().supportEmail when SUPPORT_RECIPIENT_EMAIL is unset, so a single BRANDING_SUPPORT_EMAIL env var configures both the support form recipient and the displayed support address. Whitelabels with a different legal jurisdiction or entirely different DPA text should override the page route from an extension. Phase 1 intentionally only supports field-level swaps. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * docs(branding): add WHITELABEL.md and example branding extension WHITELABEL.md: fork checklist, env var reference, the "do not change" list (cookies, API key prefixes, invite token prefixes, MCP tool names, gnubok-mcp npm package, GNUBOK_API_KEY env name), out-of-scope items, the upstream sync workflow YAML to copy into a fork, conflict avoidance guidance, and a verification checklist. extensions/general/_example-branding/: copy-paste starter extension with index.ts (commented placeholder values for registerBrandingService), manifest.json, and README.md. Disabled by default (not added to extensions.config.json); whitelabels cp the folder, edit, and enable. sectors.test.ts: bumped expected extension count 12 -> 13 to account for the new starter extension on disk. The generated registry is unchanged because the example is disabled. The sync workflow YAML is documented inline in WHITELABEL.md rather than checked in as a workflow file. It's only meaningful in a fork -- gnubok itself has nothing to sync from. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(branding): address PR review — lazy support email + escape brand in HTML/XML Three issues from code review: P1 — lib/support.ts: SUPPORT_RECIPIENT_EMAIL was a module-level const, evaluated at import time before extensions register branding overrides via ensureInitialized(). Convert to getSupportRecipientEmail() lazy accessor; update the only caller in app/api/support/contact/route.ts. Extension-supplied supportEmail values now route correctly. P2 — app/api/mcp-oauth/authorize/route.ts: appName was interpolated into the consent page HTML without escapeHtml(), inconsistent with the existing escaping of companyName. Wrap appName.toLowerCase() in escapeHtml() at use sites in <title> and the body paragraph. P2 — lib/salary/agi/xml-generator.ts and lib/salary/ku/ku10-generator.ts: appName placed inside <gem:Programnamn> / <Programnamn> XML elements without escapeXml(), the helper already used for other admin-controlled fields in the same files. Wrap accordingly to prevent malformed XML if a brand name contains XML reserved characters. All admin-controlled inputs only — no user-exploitable path. Defense in depth, not a known incident. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(branding): security follow-up — lazy metadata, SRU/email header sanitization Self-audit after the PR review surfaced four more concerns. Fixes them with the same defense-in-depth posture as the prior review fixes. 1. app/layout.tsx — same eager-evaluation class as P1 support.ts. The module-level `const branding = getBranding()` froze branding before extensions registered, so extension-based overrides for title, description, themeColor, and apple-touch-icon silently never applied. - Convert to generateMetadata() / generateViewport() (lazy, run per request, see extension-registered overrides). - Inline getBranding() inside RootLayout for the apple-touch-icon href so it picks up overrides too. - Add ensureInitialized() at module level so extensions are loaded before the first metadata call. Mirrors the API route pattern. 2. app/manifest.ts — same class. The dynamic manifest function reads getBranding() per request, but if the manifest is requested before any other module has triggered ensureInitialized(), extensions are still unloaded. Add ensureInitialized() at module level. 3. lib/reports/ink2/sru-generator.ts — appName interpolated into the SRU `#PROGRAM` directive without sanitization. SRU's reserved char is `#` (directive marker) and CRLF injects new directives. Wrap in the existing sanitizeString() helper to match the pattern used for other admin-controlled fields in this file (#NAMN, #ADRESS, etc.). 4. extensions/general/email/lib/resend-service.ts — appName and the user-controlled fromName both flow into the From header. Resend's API does its own validation, but defense in depth: strip CRLF and angle brackets via a small sanitizeHeaderPart() helper before building the header string. fromName was a pre-existing surface; appName is new with this whitelabel work. All four are admin-controlled inputs (env vars or extension code), not user-exploitable. No known incidents — defense in depth, and correctness for extension-based whitelabels. fix: harden auth, cron secrets, and provider flows (GNU-17) (#148)
- Replace === with crypto.timingSafeEqual in all 7 cron routes via shared lib/auth/cron.ts - Add in-memory rate limiting (60 req/min) and expires_at support to calendar feed - Add exponential backoff on MFA verify after 3 failed attempts - Add 60s cooldown on password reset requests - Validate bank callback auth code format before API call - Redact session IDs from bank sync and callback logs - Validate OAuth redirect_uris against allowlist (claude.ai, claude.com, localhost) - Remove excessive PII/debug console logging from login page Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> |

Worktree api key scopes (#139)
* feat: add read/write scopes to API keys API keys now require explicit scopes (e.g. transactions:read, invoices:write) instead of having implicit full access. The create dialog shows grouped checkboxes per domain with read/write split. Legacy keys with null scopes default to read-only. MCP tools/list is filtered by scope and tools/call rejects unauthorized calls. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * Enhance API key scopes with suppliers and update descriptions for better clarity * fix: drop function before recreating with changed return type PostgreSQL cannot change return type via CREATE OR REPLACE. Drop the existing function first to avoid SQLSTATE 42P13. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix: add new migration to drop and recreate function with scopes return type The original migration was already applied, so a new migration is needed to DROP the function first before recreating with the updated return type. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix: add DROP FUNCTION to original migration, remove redundant fix migration Preview branches replay all migrations from scratch. The original migration must DROP the function before recreating it with a changed return type, otherwise PostgreSQL rejects the CREATE OR REPLACE. The separate fix migration is no longer needed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix: rename migration to avoid duplicate version in schema_migrations Version 20260325120000 is already recorded in the preview DB from a prior failed apply. Renaming to 20260326130000 so Supabase treats it as a new migration. fix: broaden OAuth redirect_uri allowlist for Claude Desktop (#77)
* fix: broaden OAuth redirect_uri allowlist for Claude Desktop Claude Desktop uses varying callback paths (with org/connector IDs), not a single fixed callback URL. Allow any path under claude.ai and claude.com instead of requiring an exact match. fix: plain 401 for MCP OAuth discovery (#74)
* fix: return plain 401 for MCP OAuth discovery and harden auth flow - Return plain HTTP 401 with WWW-Authenticate header (no JSON-RPC body) so Claude Desktop's MCP client can trigger OAuth discovery correctly - Remove unused apiKey import from authorize route - Remove stale codeChallengeMethod parameter from oauth-codes Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix: add Retry-After header to 429 rate limit response Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat: MCP server, API keys, OAuth, and KPI dashboard (#72)
* fix: prevent Chrome auto-translate from crashing React during onboarding
Chrome auto-translate modifies DOM text nodes when it detects a Swedish
page (lang="sv") in a browser set to English. React does not expect
external DOM mutations and throws, crashing the entire component tree
into global-error.tsx on every step transition.
Add translate="no" and <meta name="google" content="notranslate"> to
suppress browser translation. Also fix timezone-unsafe date parsing in
fiscal period validation (new Date("YYYY-MM-DD") + getDate() returns
local-timezone values, shifting dates by -1 day in Western timezones).
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix: add notranslate meta tag to global-error.tsx for consistency
Per review feedback — global-error.tsx renders its own <html> document,
so it needs the same <meta name="google" content="notranslate"> tag as
layout.tsx to fully suppress Chrome translation on error pages.

* feat: add MCP server extension with OAuth, API keys, and KPI dashboard
Let users do bookkeeping through Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or any
MCP-compatible client. "Show my uncategorized transactions." "Book that
as office supplies." "Invoice Acme for 15,000 kr."
MCP server (extension):
- 10 tools: transactions, categorization, customers, invoices,
trial balance, VAT report, KPI report, income statement
- JSON-RPC 2.0 protocol (no SDK dependency, works in serverless)
- Tool annotations, pagination, input validation per MCP best practices
- Same engine as web UI (VAT rules, exchange rates, event emission)
API key infrastructure (core):
- api_keys table with RLS, rate limiting (100 RPM), scopes column
- Atomic rate limit via DB RPC (validate_and_increment_api_key)
- Key management API routes + settings UI panel
OAuth 2.1 for Claude Desktop connectors:
- .well-known/oauth-protected-resource + oauth-authorization-server
- Authorization endpoint with consent page
- Token endpoint with PKCE verification
- Stateless encrypted auth codes (AES-256-GCM, no DB storage)
- Dynamic client registration
KPI dashboard:
- /nyckeltal page with hero cards, operational grid, trend chart
- GET /api/reports/kpi endpoint
- Gross margin, cash position, expense ratio, avg payment days,
VAT liability, revenue/expense trend

* fix: address OAuth security vulnerabilities from code review
Critical fixes:
- Auth code replay: Track used codes in oauth_used_codes table with
unique constraint. Codes are single-use per OAuth 2.1 §4.1.2.
- Open redirect: Validate redirect_uri against hardcoded allowlist
of known Claude callback URLs + localhost for dev.
P1 fixes:
- Move API key creation from /authorize to /token endpoint. Keys are
only created after PKCE verification, preventing orphaned keys on
abandoned OAuth flows.
- Add ensureInitialized() to MCP server so event handlers load and
transaction.categorized events reach extensions.
P2 fixes:
- Remove 'plain' from PKCE methods — only S256 is advertised and
accepted.
- Fix extension count in sectors test (10 → 11 for mcp-server).

* fix: remove duplicate ensureInitialized() that caused circular import
The extension router (ext/[...path]/route.ts) already calls
ensureInitialized() before dispatching to handlers. The duplicate
call in server.ts created a circular import that Turbopack couldn't
resolve, breaking the Vercel build.
