Mattsson 828628d882 fix(auth): land stock email-change links on the status page and stop retries voiding pending mails (#2199)
* fix(auth): land stock email-change links on the status page and stop retries voiding pending mails

A secure email change needs one click in each mailbox. Stock GoTrue links
verify on the GoTrue host and return to /auth/callback through redirect_to
with ?message= (first click), ?error= (dead link) or ?code= (completing
click); none carries a token_hash, so the callback bounced every one of
them to /login with no message. Users read that as a failure and pressed
"Byt" again, and because the claims fast path carries no new_email, the
route re-issued both tokens on every press and voided the links they were
about to click.

- /api/account/email stamps flow=email_change on emailRedirectTo and reads
pending state from GoTrue when the session claims lack it, so a repeat
  request inside the 30-minute window is a no-op instead of a re-send.
- /auth/callback routes flow=email_change redirects to
  /auth/email-change?status=partial|done|failed; hook-style token_hash
links keep using the existing verifyOtp branch.

* fix(auth): let signed-in stock email-change redirects through the proxy and treat a minted code as done

Skeptic findings on e5639fb43:

- The proxy bounced authenticated /auth/callback requests to / unless they
carried type=email_change. Stock GoTrue links return with only the
flow=email_change marker, so the new status branch was unreachable from
the signed-in browser the change usually starts in. Exempt the marker too.
- A completing click opened in a browser without the PKCE verifier (phone
mail app) failed the code exchange and, with no session to inspect, was
reported as a failed change although GoTrue had already flipped the
address. A code is only minted after that verify, so report done.

* fix(auth): gate email-change requests with an atomic per-user claim

CodeRabbit on PR #2199: the pending-state read from GoTrue is not atomic,
so two concurrent POST /api/account/email calls (two tabs, a retried
fetch) could both see nothing pending and both re-issue the confirmation
tokens, voiding each other's mails.

Migration 20260903083000 adds email_change_requests (one row per auth
user, RLS with no policies) and two SECURITY DEFINER RPCs:
claim_email_change_request(p_email, p_window_seconds) is a single
INSERT ... ON CONFLICT DO UPDATE whose row lock serialises concurrent
claimers, so exactly one caller per address per window wins; a different
address always wins; release_email_change_request drops the claim when
GoTrue refuses the change so the user can retry.

The route claims right before updateUser, answers resent:false when the
claim is held, releases on GoTrue failure, and falls through to GoTrue if
the RPC itself errors. pg-real test covers sequential, windowed,
concurrent, per-user, release and RLS behaviour. Applied to staging with
the same version.

Jakob Wennberg f266c386f3 chore: repo-wide bloat sweep, remove dead code and fold duplicate helpers (#2150)
* chore: repo-wide bloat sweep, remove dead code and fold duplicate helpers

Remove 33 dead files, ~270 unreferenced exports/types, 13 dead i18n
namespaces and 4 unused dependencies; fold byte-identical helper copies
into one canonical home each (lib/utils chunk/sleep/utcDateStamp,
lib/dates/iso, lib/invariants/uuid, lib/xml/escape, lib/reports/sru/format,
lib/pdf/number-text, lib/browser/panel-request, lib/api/v1/body +
v1ValidationError rolled out to ~55 v1 routes, booking-template schemas).

No behaviour change: v1 bodies and status codes, MCP tool schemas, DB
writes and money math are untouched. Naive ore rounding was deliberately
not swapped for roundOre; see DECISIONS.md 2026-09-02 for the full list
of things left alone on purpose.

tsc, lint, 19588 unit tests and check:guards green; antipattern baseline
ratcheted (naive-ore-round 622 -> 620, hand-rolled-invariant 115 -> 113).

* test(transactions): import RawTransaction from @/types after the ingest re-export removal

CI's type ratchet (check:types, full tsconfig) caught the one test file
that still imported the type through lib/transactions/ingest.

Jakob Wennberg 18cbc4c30a fix(security): audit remediation 2026-09-01: api_keys identity, viewer gates, OAuth binding, XSS, MFA gate (#2155)
* fix(security): bind api_keys to the caller, lock hash-as-bearer RPCs and provider token tables

Security audit 2026-09-01, critical items.

- api_keys INSERT requires user_id = auth.uid() again (an admin could
forge a key for any co-member and act as them in every company they
belong to); SELECT is own-keys-or-admin; a BEFORE trigger freezes the
identity and credential columns against user-session UPDATEs.
- rotate_mcp_refresh_token and validate_and_increment_api_key become
service_role only: they match rows by a presented SHA-256, so a hash
readable by co-members was a bearer credential.
- validate_and_increment_api_key fails closed when the key's user is no
longer a member of the key's company.
- provider_consent_tokens and provider_otc: the DELETE policies collapsed
to "caller has any team row" (correlated subquery on a non-existent
team_members.company_id). All member policies dropped; service_role
only, matching every existing code path.

* fix(security): role gates, ownership guards and posting integrity in the database

Security audit 2026-09-01, high items at the database layer.

- One table-level guard, enforce_company_writer_role(), blocks the
read-only viewer role on 55 company-scoped tables including through
the 15 membership-only SECURITY DEFINER writers. Keyed on the JWT role
claim so it fires inside definer bodies; no-op for service_role and
  trigger cascades.
- company_members user_id/company_id immutable from user sessions;
invitations can never grant owner; team_members gains a transition
guard (admins keep non-owner role moves); companies team_id and
archiving are owner-only and team attachment needs team membership.
- Direct statements (current_user = authenticated) can no longer insert
posted headers, add lines under posted verifikat, or post a draft with
a voucher number the sequence never issued. Sanctioned RPCs run as the
definer and are untouched; the engine's own draft-then-post shapes
  still pass.
- create_document_version refuses viewers and foreign storage paths;
  validate_version_chain needs membership and loses anon EXECUTE;
  match_documents / match_booking_templates lose anon; cron maintenance
RPCs become service_role only; the production-only
  seed_asset_categories is dropped.

* build: pin tsx as an exact devDependency instead of fetching it with npx at build time

prebuild ran "npx tsx" with no lockfile entry, so every Vercel, Docker
and CI build downloaded tsx@latest and its transitive tree from the
registry with no integrity check, inside the build environment.

* fix(security): refuse the viewer role on API-key and MCP write paths

The v1 wrapper and the MCP company routing checked company membership
but never role, and both run as service role, so a read-only viewer
holding an API key could post vouchers and change settings through the
API. Mutating methods and non-read scopes now return 403 ROLE_READ_ONLY
for viewers on v1; MCP write tools refuse viewers the same way.

* fix(security): stop serving uploaded SVG, XML and HTML as executable content on the app origin

Uploads persisted the browser-declared mime type and the inline proxy
served it verbatim, sandboxing only text/html; the storage proxy
forwarded the uploader's Content-Type. Any writer, or any Peppol sender,
could plant a scripted SVG or XHTML that executed on app.gnubok.se.

- inline route: allow-list of natively safe types (PDF, raster images)
served as before; everything else gets the opaque sandbox CSP.
- storage proxy: octet-stream + attachment + sandbox unless the DB
mime for the key is on the allow-list.
- document-service: the stored mime is the magic-byte validated type.
- logo upload: magic-byte validation, SVG refused.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(security): byrå brand logo upload decides the type by magic bytes and drops SVG

Same pattern as the company logo route: the logos bucket is public, so a
scripted SVG (or anything declared as an image) must never land there.
The upload pickers stop advertising SVG.

* fix(security): bind Enable Banking, Stripe and WooCommerce callbacks to the initiating user

The callbacks resolved the pending row by oauth_state alone, so a
victim who completed an attacker-initiated consent had their bank
account, merchant account or store attached to the attacker's company.
requireFlowInitiator() now requires the cookie session of the user who
started the flow: no session redirects to login with the callback URL
preserved, a different user is refused and nothing is exchanged.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(security): guard tenant-controlled outbound fetches and surface the disabled rate limiter

WooCommerce and Shopify syncs fetched a member-editable store URL with
plain fetch() and redirect following under the service role, and the
invoice PDF renderer fetched company_settings.logo_url unguarded. All
three go through a new safeFetch() (public-IP validation via url-guard,
https only, redirect: 'manual', body size cap) and re-normalise the
stored host at use time. checkRateLimit() keeps failing open on hosted
but logs one error per process when Upstash is not configured and
exports isRateLimiterConfigured().

* fix(security): decide the API MFA gate from server-authenticated factors, not the session cookie

getAuthenticatorAssuranceLevel() without arguments derives nextLevel
from session.user.factors, which comes from the unsigned sb-*-auth-token
cookie. Deleting factors from the cookie made an enrolled account look
like it had nothing to step up to, on every /api route and in
requireAuth. Both gates now read factors from the getUser() result or
listFactors() and the level from the verified JWT claim, and fail closed
on errors. Page-branch gate hardened the same way.

* fix(security): bind Fortnox/Visma, Gmail and Skatteverket callbacks to the initiating user

The arcim-migration callback exchanged the provider code onto whatever
consent the one-time state named, with no check of who completed the
flow and no org-number comparison, so a phished Fortnox admin handed
their ledger to the attacker's company. provider_otc now records the
initiating user (migration 20260902100000); the callback requires that
session and, after the exchange, refuses a provider company whose org
number differs from the consent's company. The Gmail and Skatteverket
callbacks enforce the same initiator check.

* fix(security): BankID signup confirms the email before linking the identity

Signup created an email-confirmed, MFA-exempt account for any address
the caller typed and returned a magic link, so an attacker could
pre-register a victim's email and keep a permanent BankID login into the
account the victim later adopted. The user is now created unconfirmed,
the identity carries email_verified_at NULL (migration 20260902101000),
bankid_linked is not set until the mailed confirmation is clicked, and
BankID login of a pending identity is refused with the confirmation
re-sent.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(security): bind MCP OAuth redirect URIs to the consenting user and cap scopes

A user-registered redirect URI was allowlisted globally, the consent page
named no client, and all scopes were pre-checked, so one phishing link
handed an attacker a full-scope key for the victim's company. Registered
URIs now resolve only for the registrant or a colleague sharing a
company; the consent page shows the client identity and redirect host;
non-built-in clients default to read-only pre-checks; scopes are capped
by the user's role (viewer: read only) at consent and at /token.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(auth): client follow-ups for BankID confirmation, callback mismatch copy and decision log

- register client handles the new confirmation_sent response from BankID
signup with the existing inbox screen instead of calling verifyOtp.
- BankID login surfaces the email_unconfirmed explanation.
- WooCommerce settings map woocommerce_error=wrong_user to its own copy.
- Logo help text no longer advertises SVG.
- DECISIONS.md records the audit remediation choices.

* fix(mcp-oauth): literal SoD columns in the api_keys insert so the phantom-column scanner resolves them

* test(logo): type the upload fixtures as Uint8Array<ArrayBuffer> so they are valid BlobParts

by the one legacy error the change removed.

Jakob Wennberg b1f7116231 fix(observability): clear the dead session on the first bounce, stop filing client disconnects as exceptions, scope the Hem probe (#2114)
Three small defects found underneath error clusters that are themselves benign.

bounceToAuth returned a bare NextResponse.redirect and never copied the cookies
off supabaseResponse, so the Set-Cookie headers that clear a dead session were
thrown away on the first bounce and the browser replayed the dead refresh token
once more on /login. That doubled both the GoTrue 400s and the log volume. The
AuthApiError itself is left alone: it is correct session-expiry handling that
auth-js logs from inside node_modules, and getUser() returns it as a value.

"The destination stream closed early." is a client disconnecting mid-stream,
produced inside React's Flight server. Next's own isAbortError filter does not
recognise React's cancel error, so instrumentation.ts reported it to PostHog
Error Tracking as a real exception against real users' session replays and paid
an awaited flush on an otherwise-healthy request. A narrow predicate now
early-returns before PostHog is touched. This cannot remove the line from
Vercel's runtime-error table, which is fed by Next's stderr.

other-account-hint.ts issued an unfiltered journal_entries probe on the
blocking Hem render path, inside a render Promise.all: roughly 1 in 20 Hem
loads waited an extra 2.5 s for an advisory nudge. An unfiltered probe on a
multi-tenant table is also a correctness smell. It is now company-scoped and
off the blocking path.

Mattsson aabddb592f feat(billing): multi-user paywall: multi_user capability, 20-day grace, owner-only dormancy (#2099)
* feat(billing): multi-user seat gate: multi_user capability, 20-day grace, owner-only dormancy

Multiple people in one company becomes a paid capability (multi_user, the
eighth PAID key). Derived at access time from capability_grants, no status
column, no enforcement cron:

- entitled: active grant (trial/stripe/team/manual/comp), everyone works
- grace: newest grant expired < 20 days ago; countdown banner for everyone
in companies with > 1 user; invites still allowed
- frozen: only role=owner resolves; other memberships go dormant (rows
untouched, paying reactivates instantly); invites 403 with paid-plan upsell

Enforcement: new resolve_active_company_gated RPC (zero-arg RPC and RLS twin
untouched: they also run on self-hosts, where the gate never bites), gated
query fallback for service-role/API-key paths, setActiveCompany guard, MCP
company-access check, invite route. Middleware routes all-frozen users to a
new /paused page; the switcher greys locked companies.

Migration 20260901081417 (applied to staging): trial trigger seeds
multi_user, backfills for mid-trial companies, active Stripe subs, team
agreements, and a grandfather grant (expires now, i.e. grace = deploy + 20
days) for existing unpaid multi-member companies. Daily cron mails owners at
grace start and last day. Strings in sv+en; pg-real + unit tests included.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01L4tNt8wRG3a5iuU1JE2pnP

* fix(billing): multi-user seat gate hardening from skeptic review

- Stripe cancel now EXPIRES the multi_user stripe grant instead of deleting
it: the 20-day grace window hangs on an expired row, so a deleted one
froze churned payers' staff instantly with no banner and no mail. Other
stripe grants keep the freeze-and-retain delete.
- New SECURITY DEFINER company_multi_user_state() RPC (migration
20260901083726, applied to staging) and RPC-first getMultiUserState:
capability_grants RLS hides team-scoped rows from non-team users, so
user-client reads misread byra-covered companies as frozen (switch
  refusal, wrong switcher locks).
- Byra-kind teams get a standing team-scoped multi_user grant (backfill +
teams trigger): byra client companies have no company-scoped trial by
design, so a grantless byra team would freeze every consultant and
  client user.
- Comped/manual companies with active PAID-key grants extend to multi_user
(a comped company must not read as paying while locking out user two).
- /api/v1 gets the same dormancy gate as MCP (frozen non-owner -> 403).
- PGRST202 on resolution fails OPEN (pre-migration DB has zero multi_user
rows; the gated fallback would have frozen every non-owner mid-deploy).
- Grace cron: covers team-scoped lapses (byra agreement ending) and skips
the start mail for the hand-mailed grandfather cohort.
- Tests updated/added across all touched surfaces; pg tests for the new
RPC and byra trigger; trial-suppression pg test extended to 8 keys.

* fix(billing): decouple seat-gate env check and fail open on gate read throws

CI round 1 on #2099:
- isMultiUserEnforced no longer imports has-capability: several route test
suites partially mock that module and the vitest mock guard threw from
inside the v1 seat gate, turning expected 4xx responses into 500s.
multi_user is never a connector capability, so the bypass reduces to the
  same env reads, now inlined.
- getMultiUserState wraps its resolution in a fail-open try/catch: a client
without .rpc or a thrown network error must never lock users out.
- no-phantom-columns ceiling 391 -> 393 with reasons: the seat gate's .or()
scope filter (server-resolved UUIDs) and the Stripe cancel expiry update's
timestamp .or(); all columns in both strings are literals.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01L4tNt8wRG3a5iuU1JE2pnP

* fix(billing): membership-guard the multi-user entitlement RPCs (Superagent P3)

company_multi_user_ok and company_multi_user_state are SECURITY DEFINER and
were granted to authenticated with a caller-supplied company UUID: any
logged-in user could probe an arbitrary company's billing state and grace
deadline across tenants. Migration 20260901091752 (applied to staging)
requires an auth.uid() membership in the target company when a JWT is
present, keeps service-role/definer contexts unrestricted, and clamps the
grace window to [0, 20] days. pg tests: stranger gets false/NULL, member
reads normally, oversized p_grace_days cannot widen the probe.

Mattsson fc54e79e08 fix(auth): scope the home-domain ok cookie to the signed-in user (#2083)
The gnubok-home-ok cache cookie stored only the host, so any account that
signed in within the 15-minute TTL window inherited the previous user's
"this is home" verdict in the same browser and skipped the brand-host
bounce entirely: a user with no ties to a white-label brand could land
inside the branded shell instead of being redirected to the canonical
domain (amnas account-switch repro, two logins 9 s apart).

The cookie value is now userId~host and the middleware only skips the
affinity check when both match the current session. Old host-only cookies
never match, so the check re-runs and the format self-migrates; no
sign-out hook is needed because a foreign verdict misses by construction.

Mattsson 024420d655 fix(auth): exempt allowlisted emails from home-domain brand-host bounce (#2077)
A signup-allowlisted partner owner (brand_signup_allowlist) could sign up
on an invite-only brand domain but was then exiled to the canonical domain
by the middleware home-domain affinity rule before any team membership
existed: the layout-level exemption in resolveBrandDomainBounce was
unreachable because the middleware redirect runs first. Rule 2 now checks
the allowlist (fail-closed) and lets those sessions stay, caching the
verdict like other home verdicts. Found via the Ziffr owner lockout.

Mattsson 341d61131a fix(auth): email-change recovery re-send and confirmation feedback (#2034)
* fix(auth): email-change recovery re-send and confirmation feedback

A half-completed secure email change was a dead end: the pending-address
short-circuit in /api/account/email swallowed every retry without
re-sending mails, so once the confirmation links expired the user could
never recover, and confirmation clicks landed on the dashboard with no
feedback at all.

- /api/account/email: only short-circuit a repeat request while the
pending mails are fresh (30 min); a stale pending change falls through
to GoTrue, which restarts the change and re-sends both mails
- /auth/callback: type=email_change now redirects to a status page
(/auth/email-change) that says whether one click remains, the change
is complete, or the link was dead, instead of landing silently
- auth mail templates: both email-change mails explain that two mails
are sent and both links must be clicked
- settings: the save button re-enables for the pending address as
Skicka igen, so users can trigger the re-send themselves

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_018sbGMZQE5W7KfSVFjK7E4p

* fix(auth): exempt email-change confirmations from the authenticated /auth bounce (skeptic findings)

- middleware: let /auth/email-change and /auth/callback?type=email_change
through for authenticated users; the bounce to / swallowed confirmation
clicks before verifyOtp ran (pre-existing since #2017)
- email-change done page resolves the WL-14 landing destination for the CTA
- /api/account/email returns resent flag; settings toast says mails were
already sent instead of claiming a fresh send

Jakob Wennberg 4b7343d5ec fix(errors): keep the SQLSTATE when wrapping database errors (#2027)
isTransientFailure() checks the driver's error code first, and 57014
(statement timeout) is already in its transient set. But the wrapping idiom
across the codebase was `throw new Error(\`Database error: ${err.message}\`)`,
which keeps the prose and drops the code. A retryable timeout therefore
arrived anonymous and resolved to UNKNOWN_ERROR: "Något gick fel. Försök
igen." An agent cannot dispatch on that, so it retried.

On production over 60 days, with the two bot integrations excluded: 1024 real
agent failures, 645 of them UNKNOWN_ERROR across 60 actors and 57 companies.
82 retry streaks of three or more identical failures, 462 wasted repeat calls,
53.1% of all agent error calls sitting inside a streak.

The worst offender traces to one line in core. gnubok_query_journal failed 164
times at a p50 of 8110ms while every other failing tool sat between 1 and
315ms, and its path is fetchEntryLines -> fetchAllRows, where
lib/supabase/fetch-all.ts threw `new Error(error.message)`. That is the
highest-traffic strip point in the repo: 31 callers, every paginated read.
query_journal already had a correct TRANSIENT_ERROR branch offering "retry, or
narrow with date_from/date_to" which could never fire, because by the time it
looked, the code was gone.

fetch-all keeps the driver message verbatim: callers match on the existing
text, and this adds the code rather than rewording anything.

Attaching the code is safe. extractCode() only accepts /^[A-Z_]+$/ and every
SQLSTATE contains digits, so it cannot be mistaken for one of our own stable
codes. There is a test for that, and one asserting the old bare-Error shape
still resolves to UNKNOWN_ERROR so the fix cannot silently regress.

Also stops rendering the literal "undefined" when a driver-level failure
carries no message, which is the string that made these unsearchable.

Mattsson b30c71086e feat(byra): gate the automatic cockpit landing to owner/admin (#1970)
* feat(byra): gate the automatic cockpit landing to owner/admin

Plain byra members now land like regular users; owner/admin keep the
cockpit landing at both decision sites (post-login /api/clients/landing
and the '/' bounce). The middleware zero-company steer stays ungated:
a member with zero companies has nowhere else to land. Cockpit access
itself is unchanged (nav + /clients remain membership-based).

Supersedes the 2026-08-05 all-members widening (DECISIONS.md).

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(byra): keep byra members out of the first-run wizard on auto-landing

Skeptic finding: a member whose auto-resolved active company is
onboarding-incomplete (e.g. mid migration-reset, which repoints
active_company_id itself) fell through the new role gate into
/onboarding, a dead end for role member (WL-15 refuses client
creation). Byra members without a picked-company cookie now go to
/byra at the onboarding check, restoring the pre-gate shield.

Also pins the role column into the landing route's select assertion
so dropping it can't pass the mocked tests silently.

Mattsson fdb5f6f891 feat(white-label): byra white-label infrastructure: brands, cockpit, home domains, branded email (#1956)
* feat(white-label): brand and team-kind foundation

- brands table: one white-label identity per byra team (unique mutable
domain, row presence = live, email sender identity, hex color CHECKs)
- teams.kind ('personal'|'byra'): ops-only kind changes, deterministic
ensure_user_team (personal team only), AFTER UPDATE role re-sync so a
demoted consultant loses admin in client books immediately
- resolveBrandByHost/resolveBrandForCompany with 60s TTL cache, derived
chrome tone and WCAG contrast gate; no brand row = default appearance

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): per-request brand theming, wordmark slot and source footer

- root layout resolves the brand from the Host header and injects a
server-rendered style block (light + dark), font pair classes and a
BrandProvider/useBranding context; default hosts render byte-identically
- BrandWordmark logo slot, host-aware manifest and favicon,
  images.remotePatterns for Supabase Storage logos
- curated font menu mechanism (font_key -> variable pair, preload:false
  for non-default entries)
- AGPL source-code footer link on login and public pages, both brands

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): byra team invites, member management and team billing

- team invites unfrozen behind a kind gate (byra teams only, owner/admin
invite); members route handles multi-team membership; members/[id]
unfrozen with last-owner protection; invite management UI in settings
- billing/status learns team-scoped grants and the settings page shows a
read-only "part of the byra agreement" state instead of the upgrade pitch
- 30-day trial suppressed for companies created under a byra team

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): brand-aware outbound mail, auth email hook and public invoice branding

- every outbound mail is sent in the brand of the company it concerns:
  getSenderForCompany/getBaseUrlForCompany chain (verified brand domain,
"via Accounted" fallback, canonical default) wired into invites,
  payslips, invoice deliveries and reminders
- Supabase Send Email hook endpoint (signature-verified with node:crypto,
dormant until configured) renders auth mail per brand via redirect origin
- public invoice pages carry the company's brand mark
- snapshot suite per template class guards against wrong-brand mail

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): byra cockpit, home-domain rule and tab guard

- Klienter route: five urgency-sorted columns (company, unbooked, inbox,
next deadline via the status engine, last booked) for byra team members,
who land there after login on their home domain
- soft switch straight into a client and back; blocking two-exit tab
guard against writes to the wrong active company
- client company creation admin-gated at the DB level (a created company
is +1 on the byra invoice), bound to the byra team, no trial
- home-domain rule in the UI: switcher partitions companies by host,
signpost page for companies homed elsewhere

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): brand-aware app name across UI strings

- 24 message keys per locale converted to the {appName} ICU parameter,
27 call sites pass the active brand name (useBranding client-side,
  getRequestAppName server-side)
- 6 hardcoded JSX literals swept; statutory filing and API identity
surfaces deliberately keep the Accounted name
- 34 new i18n keys for the cockpit, team invites, billing state, tab
guard, signpost and source footer (sv/en parity verified)

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* docs(white-label): domain glossary and decision log entries

- CONTEXT.md: the white-label ubiquitous language (brand, byra team,
home domain, signpost, umbrella subdomain, brand color, cockpit)
- DECISIONS.md entries from the build waves

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): lean byra cockpit sidebar with company-mode back link

Byra team members now get a two-mode sidebar: on cockpit routes (/clients
and the new /byra pages) only Hem, Klienter, Automationer and Nyckeltal
show; entering a client company brings back the full company sidebar with
a pinned back-to-clients link (expanded, rail and mobile). New pages: /byra
home with client count, needs-action count and per-client urgent deadlines
reusing the fetchClientOverview aggregation, plus designed empty states for
/byra/automations and /byra/kpi. Signpost gate allows the byra routes;
non-byra users are unaffected.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): cockpit shows no active company and keeps lean sidebar under settings

In cockpit mode the bottom user widget no longer shows the active company
subline or the company-switcher flyout: the cockpit sits above the
companies and clients are entered through the Klienter list. The settings
modal previously flipped the sidebar to the full company nav behind it
because the pathname becomes /settings/*; the sidebar now keeps the mode
of the surface underneath.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): keep company picker in cockpit with nothing selected

The cockpit user menu gets the company-switcher flyout back, but neutral:
the row reads "Valj bolag", no company carries the check mark or active
styling, and picking any company (including the technically-active one)
enters it with a full navigation. Company mode is unchanged.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* chore(db): renumber white-label migrations past main and add byra settings scope

Renumber 20260801100000-120000 to 20260804110000-113000: main already
carries applied versions up to 20260803231000, and Supabase branching
refuses local migrations stamped before the remote head (the repo rule
from 5932632f5: keep new versions strictly newest). Comment references
updated in the pg tests, route docs and onboarding precheck.

Also ships the byra settings scope: settings opened from the cockpit
(?ctx=byra, honored only for byra team members) show account-level
sections only (Konto, Medlemmar och roller), hide company-scoped
sections and the company kicker, and the team section is registered in
SETTINGS_SECTIONS so Medlemmar och roller renders inside the settings
window. The cockpit user menu drops Abonnemang and carries the scope on
its links; section switches preserve it.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(byra): cross-client nyckeltal view in the cockpit

Period presets and company chips in the URL, summary tiles, merged
monthly income/expense chart and a sortable per-client KPI table.
Numbers come from the existing get_kpi_report_aggregates RPC per
client (no new migrations); calendar months are the cross-client
axis since clients can have different fiscal years.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): byra self-service brand logo and app name

New Varumarke settings section (byra scope, owner/admin): logo
upload/remove and an editable app name; domain stays read-only.
brands has no write RLS by design, so writes go through
/api/byra/brand routes with the service client behind an explicit
owner/admin team check. Files land in logos/byra/{teamId}/. The
expanded sidebar shows the brand app name beside the logo.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): route root layout through the shared brand resolver

app/layout.tsx carried a private copy of resolveRequestBrand, so it
and lib/branding/request-brand.ts could drift. The layout now uses
the shared function, which also gains a BRAND_DEV_DOMAIN override:
on literal localhost hosts only, resolve that brand so branding is
testable in local dev. Real domains are unaffected even if the
variable leaks into a deployment.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(byra): automations roadmap teaser and cockpit i18n strings

The Automationer tab now previews the planned automation set
(Monday briefing, deadline watch, rule-driven bookkeeping,
connection watch, monthly checklist, report delivery) instead of a
bare empty state. Bundles the sv/en strings for the whole cockpit
wave (nyckeltal, varumarke, automations) and the decision-log
entries.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): byra owners/admins land in the cockpit, not an auto-picked company

After login "/" resolved the first-membership fallback and opened a client
company nobody chose, and the top-left brand mark always linked back to it.
Byra owners/admins now home to /byra: the logo links there always, and "/"
redirects there unless a company was explicitly picked this browser session.

The middleware writes the fallback company back to user_preferences, so the
DB cannot tell picked from auto-picked; setActiveCompany stamps a session
cookie (gnubok-company-picked) on every explicit switch instead. The byra
check on "/" reuses the layout's team_members query via a request-cached
helper, so it costs no extra round trip. Byra members and regular users are
unchanged.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* refactor(white-label): drop brand color theming, keep monochrome everywhere

White-label is logo + app name + domain only (founder call): the
layout no longer injects brand color CSS variables, stamps
data-brand or colors the browser chrome. buildBrandVarsCss, its
WCAG gate and the brand_color/chrome_color columns stay dormant
for a future opt-in.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(db): arm SIE RPC statement_timeout via pgrst.db_pre_request hook

ALTER FUNCTION ... SET statement_timeout (20260629160100, 20260721144311)
never re-arms the running statement's timer, so large SIE imports still
died at the role default 8s. The pre-request hook runs as its own
statement before the main query, so set_config there is what the main
statement's timer is armed with. Scoped by request path to the three SIE
RPCs; every other request keeps 8s.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(byra): drop the 'what's coming' tail from the automations intro

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): byra owners/admins with zero companies land in the empty cockpit

Both no-company gates (Edge middleware and the dashboard layout) sent
every company-less user to the onboarding wizard, which forced a fresh
byra owner to create a personal company before ever seeing the cockpit.
Byra owners/admins now pass through to cockpit routes (/byra, /clients,
/companies/new, /settings, /api) and are steered to /byra elsewhere.
Plain byra members and regular users keep the onboarding redirect.
The membership lookup runs only in the rare no-company state, so the
middleware hot path is untouched.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): auth wordmark shows the brand logo alone

Byra logos usually carry their own name, so logo + app name text on the
login/register hero read as a duplicate. Branded hosts with an uploaded
logo now render the logo only, with the app name as the image's alt
text. Hosts without a logo keep the text wordmark unchanged.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): per-brand favicon via brands.favicon_url

Branded hosts used logo_url as the tab icon, which squashes wide byra
lockups at 16px. New optional brands.favicon_url holds a square mark;
the root layout prefers it and falls back to logo_url as before.
Migration applied to staging (idempotent DDL).

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(auth): wire the villkor and integritetspolicy footer links

Both auth pages shipped with href="#" placeholders. Villkor now points
at the platform terms on the marketing site (accounted.se/terms; the
terms are the platform's even on branded byra hosts) and
integritetspolicy at the in-app /privacy page, host-relative so it
resolves on every branded domain. Both open in a new tab so the auth
form state survives.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(settings): styled popup for the team role dropdowns

The byra team panel's role pickers (member rows + invite form) were
native selects, so the opened list rendered as the unstylable OS menu.
Swapped to the Radix Select with the popup styled like every other
overlay; the trigger keeps the flat quiet SettingsSelect look.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(email): branded sender shows the brand name alone, no via-platform

Byra invite mail read "Willem via Accounted" in the From display name.
The tier-2 fallback (brand on the platform address) now renders just the
brand name; the platform stays visible in the actual From address until
the brand verifies its own sender domain (tier 1, unchanged).

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): byra landing applies to every team member, not only owners/admins

An invited byra consultant (role member) still landed in an auto-picked
client company after signup. The cockpit landing rules ("/" redirect,
brand-mark home link, and both no-company gates) now key on byra team
MEMBERSHIP instead of the owner/admin role: anyone with cockpit access
homes to /byra. Regular users unchanged.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(email): branded team invite names the byra, not "ett team pa <platform>"

Subject, headline, body and text variant now read "Du har blivit
inbjuden till <Byra>" (brand casing kept) when the team has a brand.
Brandless teams keep the platform phrasing byte-identical.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): sidebar keeps cockpit mode after refresh on settings

The sidebar's cockpit/company decision on /settings/* rested on React
state remembering the surface underneath, which a hard reload wipes: a
byra user refreshing settings opened from the cockpit got the full
company nav and read it as landing in a client company. The ?ctx=byra
marker already in the URL survives reloads, so the sidebar now honors
it as the cockpit signal alongside the in-session memory.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): hide the active-company chip in byra-scoped settings

The full-page settings header (the hard-refresh fallback surface) showed
the ActiveCompanyBadge even under ?ctx=byra, so a byra user read the
auto-active client as "the company I am in". The chip now follows the
same byra-scope rule as the modal's kicker.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): tab guard no longer fires in the tab that initiated the switch

BroadcastChannel delivers the company-switch broadcast to every listener in
the same tab too, so the cockpit tab raised its own WL-09 "switched in
another tab" dialog over the hard navigation into the clicked client.
performCompanySwitch now marks the switch as self-initiated; CompanyTabSync
suppresses only the dialog for that observation (stray writes still get
their 409) and clears the marker on bfcache restore so back-navigation
regains the full guard.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(settings): styled popups for every settings dropdown

SettingsSelect rendered a native <select>, whose OS listbox cannot be
styled and clashes with the panel (same problem the team-panel role
dropdowns had). It now renders through Radix Select with the flat
dashed-underline trigger, keeping the native prop surface so all 13 call
sites work unchanged: value/defaultValue, onChange(e.target.value),
<option> children, and a hidden input that carries `name` into
SettingsFormWrapper's FormData read and raises the bubbling input event
its dirty tracking listens for. Empty-string option values map onto a
sentinel at the Radix boundary. The backup form's boxed fiscal-year
select moves to the shadcn Select with a placeholder.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): home-domain affinity redirect in middleware

Every signed-in user now homes on a domain: byra team members on their
brand's domain, everyone else on the platform app URL, except a byra's
client users, whose home is the byra domain their companies live under.
On any other product host the request redirects to the home domain's
root, where the user meets the RIGHT branded login (sessions are
per-domain by design). localhost, direct *.vercel.app hosts and IP
hosts are exempt; a 15-minute host-scoped cookie caches the "this is
home" verdict so the hot path costs zero extra queries; lookup failures
fail open. Complements the WL-01 signpost, which keeps handling
per-company homing inside a domain.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): render hero brand logo at 64px on auth pages

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(white-label): shareable invite link and re-send for byra team invites

A failed invite mail previously surfaced only as a toast description while
the invitation quietly waited for a mail that never arrived (the Arbore
case). The inviter now always has a recovery path:

- persistent share-link line after invite create/re-send: ochre attn line
with a copy action when the mail did not go out, quiet muted line with
the same action when it did
- POST /api/team/invite/[id] re-sends a pending invitation with a fresh
token and expiry (same byra-only owner/admin gates as DELETE)
- brand mail sending extracted to lib/email/send-team-invite.ts, shared
by create and re-send so the two paths cannot drift

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): sidebar shows uploaded brand logo alone, no app-name label

Byra logos usually carry their own name, so logo + text in the expanded
sidebar read as a duplicate (same founder call as BrandWordmark,
2026-08-05). The app-name label now renders only for branded hosts
without an uploaded logo.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): close the four skeptic refutations before merge

- trial seed: migration 130300 now carries the seven-key PAID body from
  20260818170000 plus the byra guard, instead of silently reverting it;
pg test pins the full key set against PAID_CAPABILITIES
- byra gate: new migration 130600 adds the owner/admin gate to
create_company_for_user (v1 API + MCP path), and both surfaces resolve
the default team personal-only, so a consultant's private company can
never attach to the byra team
- home-domain: byra staff who also have canonical-homed companies are no
longer redirected off the platform host; the signpost handles per-company
  homing (5 new middleware tests)
- settings selects: the Radix popup renders optgroup group headers again
  (ROT/RUT work-type picker)

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* test(schema): re-baseline unresolvable-expression ceiling after #1954 catch-up merge

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(white-label): pg-real rollback-safe assertions and deep-link-preserving affinity redirect

The byra company-creation pg test asserted persisted rows through the pool
after withUserContext, which always rolls back its transaction; the
assertions now run inside the transaction after RESET ROLE. The home-domain
affinity redirect carries the original path and query across the domain hop
(PR Agent finding), so invite links and deep links survive the correction.

Jakob Wennberg 52bfd7a399 perf(auth): skip the MFA factor lookup once the session is at AAL2 (#1933)
The enforced-MFA branch of the proxy called supabase.auth.mfa.listFactors()
on every page, RSC and prefetch request for every MFA-verified user with a
company. auth-js implements listFactors() as a getUser() network round
trip, so hosted page requests paid two Supabase Auth calls in sequence.

At AAL2 a verified factor exists by construction (the session got there by
verifying a challenge on one), so the lookup only runs on the aal1/aal1
path (users mid-enrolment), where it still gates exactly as before. The one
case deferred is a user who unenrols their last factor mid-session: the
JWT keeps aal2 until the next refresh, so the enrolment bounce lands on the
refresh instead of the next click.

Tests: aal1/aal1 still asks for the factor list and bounces to /mfa/enroll;
at aal2 listFactors is never called (even with a factor list that would
read as empty) on page, RSC and prefetch requests; the step-up bounce and
the no-company skip are unchanged.

Jakob Wennberg b2e15bbd2a feat(perf): measure the auth proxy per request (Server-Timing + proxy completed log) (#1922)
The proxy in front of every page, RSC, prefetch and /api request makes
several sequential network calls (getUser, session state, the
resolve_active_company RPC, MFA factor lookups) and nothing measured them,
while the route wrapper has logged authMs/companyMs/handlerMs per API call
for months. This is the first PR of the responsiveness plan (customer
report: "it takes time before all fields load when clicking around"): the
baseline every later change is measured against.

- lib/supabase/proxy-timing.ts: pure helpers (request classification from
the app-router headers, route template that collapses ids and tokens,
  Server-Timing formatting, a timed() accumulator).
- lib/supabase/middleware.ts: updateSession wraps updateSessionInner, times
each phase, sets Server-Timing on page/RSC/prefetch responses and
  X-Proxy-Timing on /api responses (withRouteContext owns Server-Timing
there), and emits one "proxy completed" log line per request.
- scripts/perf/log-percentiles.ts: p50/p90/p99 per group over
`vercel logs --json` output, for both "op completed" and
"proxy completed"; scripts/perf/README.md documents the protocol and
  targets.

bjornbergenheim 43a71aec3c fix(supabase): stop server clients leaking a 30s refresh ticker per request (#1612)
* fix(supabase): stop server clients leaking a 30s refresh ticker per request

`autoRefreshToken` defaults to true in supabase-js, and off-browser
@supabase/auth-js starts the refresh ticker unconditionally:

// in non-browser environments the refresh token ticker runs always
    this.startAutoRefresh()

That is a setInterval firing every 30 s. It calls unref(), so the process
still exits, tests pass, and Vercel never notices because the process is
torn down long before the tickers accumulate. But unref() does not make a
timer collectable: it stays registered in the event loop and remains a GC
root for its callback, which closes over the GoTrueClient, the
SupabaseClient, and the whole request scope around it.

A long-running self-hosted instance therefore leaks one timer plus one
entire request graph (socket, IncomingMessage, ServerResponse, headers,
route context: ~100 kB) per client constructed. One died of "JavaScript
heap out of memory" after 42 h, the last 24 of them completely idle. The
heap snapshot showed 445 retained request graphs and ~1050 Timeouts in
the 30 000 ms bucket, retained via `autoRefreshTicker`, and the rate
matched the traffic exactly: the Docker healthcheck polls /api/health
every 30 s and the webhook dispatch cron runs every minute, so
3 clients/min x 148 min = 444.

- new lib/supabase/service-client.ts: createServiceRoleClient() applies
SERVER_AUTH_OPTIONS, spread LAST so a caller passing its own auth block
  cannot re-enable the ticker
- 22 call sites migrated; only booking-templates/sync/cron had ever
  passed the options itself
- guard 9 in no-new-antipatterns.mjs fails CI on any new value import of
supabase-js's createClient outside the wrapper; type-only imports are
fine. Verified to fail on a deliberate regression and pass once fixed
- browser clients untouched: a signed-in tab genuinely needs the refresh,
and lib/supabase/client.ts is built on createBrowserClient anyway

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(checks): catch namespace imports in the leaky-supabase-client guard

The guard only matched named imports, so

import * as sb from '@supabase/supabase-js'
    sb.createClient(url, key)

reached createClient through member access without ever naming it, and
passed. Verified against the real script before and after: the shape is
flagged now, and `import type * as sb` still passes.

Namespace value imports are treated as leaky outright rather than tracking
member access, which keeps the check a regex over source text with no new
dependency.

Review also suggested excluding *.test.tsx alongside *.test.ts. Skipped: the
repo has no .test.tsx files, and all four sibling checks in this file use
`.test.ts`. Diverging in one of them would read as an accident; if such files
appear, all four should change together.

Jakob Wennberg 38a890c8d1 fix(underlag): carry the phone photo that is too big to send, and say why when we cannot (#1550)
* fix(whatsapp-inbox): register the channel question event types

Every follow-up question the WhatsApp intake asks has been failing its
processing_history append in production: ChannelQuestionAsked,
ChannelQuestionAnswered and ChannelQuestionExpired were never added to
the processing_event_types catalog the event_type FK points at.

appendQuestionHistory() catches and logs that failure by design, so the
reply to the sender still goes out and nothing looked broken from the
outside. What was lost is the durable record of the exchange, which is
part of how the underlag was obtained (BFNAR 2013:2 kap 8).

Catalog rows only: aggregate_type 'System' already passes the CHECK.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(underlag): say why an upload failed, and get out of an expired session

A user reported that none of the three ways to add a receipt from a
phone worked, all of them answering "Uppladdning misslyckades. Nagot
gick fel, forsok igen" immediately. Production told us nothing: every
upload request that reached the route in the same 24 hours returned 200.

Both halves of that are the same bug. The workspace read failures as
`throw new Error(json.error)`, which loses a body that is not JSON (the
res.json() call throws first) and stringifies the structured envelope to
"[object Object]", so anything the route did not answer with a plain
string arrived as the generic fallback. The middleware 401 for an
expired cookie session is exactly that envelope shape, and a phone tab
left open is exactly where the session expires unnoticed: the
controller's timers are throttled in the background, so the request the
user just made is what finds out.

Now the response is resolved where it fails, through the house helper
that already knows the status map, and an expired session is announced
on the session-timeout BroadcastChannel so the controller signs out and
routes to /login the same way it does for an expired heartbeat. Failed
uploads also post metadata (status, size, mime type, resolved reason) to
/api/log, the one API path exempt from the timeout gate, so a request
answered before the route runs stops being invisible.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(underlag): carry the phone photo that is too big to send

The reported failure was not the account and not the session: hosted
rejects any request body over 4.5 MB itself, before the function runs.
Measured against production, 4.4 MB reaches the route and 4.6 MB comes
back as a plain-text FUNCTION_PAYLOAD_TOO_LARGE. Nothing invokes the
function, so nothing lands in the logs, which is why one user's failing
uploads were invisible while every upload that arrived returned 200. An
iPhone photo in "Most Compatible" mode is 4-12 MB, so whether it worked
depended on whose phone took the picture. Meanwhile the route advertises
a 10 MB limit it can never be handed.

Photos are now re-encoded in the browser when they exceed what the
platform will carry: 2400px on the long edge at JPEG q0.85, stepping the
quality down only if that is not enough. That keeps the small print on a
receipt legible, which is what BFL 7 kap asks of an archived underlag
("varaktigt läsbart skick", a faithful reproduction), and a refusal is
not. What cannot be shrunk (a PDF, or HEIC where the browser will not
decode it) is refused before the upload starts, naming its actual size
and the limit rather than failing in transit.

413 joins the HTTP status map so a rejection we cannot pre-empt still
says what happened: the platform's body is plain text, so the status is
the only thing there is to translate.

Self-hosted Docker has no proxy in front of the app, so none of this
applies there and the route's own MAX_FILE_SIZE keeps governing.

Mattsson 11995b1b0c feat(auth): make automatic logout an opt-in per-user setting (#1536)
* feat(auth): make automatic logout an opt-in per-user setting

Session timeouts (30 min idle / 12 h absolute on hosted) now apply only
to users who enable "Automatic logout" in Settings > Security. Default
is off: sessions live for the full Supabase refresh-token lifetime, the
behavior from before the 2026-07 session hardening.

- user_preferences.auto_logout (migration, default false), toggled via
  the extended /api/user/preferences route
- The opt-in is snapshotted into the signed timeout cookie at mint, so
enforcement stays DB-read-free per request; the preferences route
clears the cookie on change so a toggle takes effect immediately
- Pre-toggle cookies are authentic-but-stale: re-minted preserving
their timers, never routed down the tamper path, so the rollout does
  not log anyone out
- NEXT_PUBLIC_SESSION_TIMEOUT_FORCE_ALL=true enforces timeouts for
every user regardless of preference (emergency lever, also plumbed
through the Docker image); self-hosted stays disabled by default

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(auth): resolve PR #1536 review findings

- Replace the spread upsert in /api/user/preferences with one literal
payload per field: the phantom-column schema guard cannot resolve
spread payloads (Unit tests 3/4 ceiling failure)
- Map the preferences 500 through getErrorMessage so the user-facing
  text is Swedish (CodeRabbit)
- fetchAutoLogoutPreference now returns null on a FAILED read instead
of a fail-open false: callers skip minting so an unknown preference
is never persisted into the year-long signed cookie, and the next
request retries; failures log at error level, distinct from the
normal opt-out path (compliance swarm GDPR Art.32(1)(b) / ISO A.8.5)

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(auth): write multi-field preference updates as one atomic upsert

A request carrying both hide_assistant_fab and auto_logout previously
issued two sequential writes, so a failure of the second returned 500
after half the request had persisted (CodeRabbit, PR #1536). One
literal upsert per accepted field combination keeps the write atomic
and stays resolvable for the phantom-column schema guard.

Jakob Wennberg 709c0c817a fix(auth): serve /docs and llms.txt to anonymous agents (#1520)
The middleware allowlist never included the agent-discovery surfaces, so
every anonymous request to /llms.txt, /llms-full.txt, or /docs/* was
307-bounced to /login on hosted. The llms.txt convention exists for
logged-out crawlers and IDE agents, and /docs is the public API
documentation that the OpenAPI spec and the installable accounted-api
skill link to. openapi.json and /.well-known/* only escaped because the
proxy matcher skips .json and .well-known paths.

Signed-in users fall through to the same content with no redirect.

Mattsson 1c9d378df8 feat(auth): enforce session idle and absolute timeouts (#1387)
* feat(auth): enforce session idle and absolute timeouts

Hosted browser sessions now carry an HMAC-signed, HttpOnly cookie holding
session start, last activity and sign-in method, bound to the Supabase
session. Middleware enforces a 30 min idle and 12 h absolute limit
(reason-coded redirects to /login), a heartbeat route advances idle
activity from real user input, and a client controller warns 2 minutes
before expiry. BankID users are routed back to BankID on re-auth via a
short-lived method hint. API-key and MCP bearer surfaces are exempt;
self-hosted installs default off and can opt in via env vars.

Fixes #362

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(auth): derive session-timeout signing key via HKDF

The HMAC key is now HKDF-derived with a purpose-bound info string, so
the SUPABASE_SERVICE_ROLE_KEY fallback never uses the privileged
credential directly as a signing key. Addresses the security review
finding on PR #1387.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(auth): back signature bytes with a plain ArrayBuffer

crypto.subtle.verify requires a BufferSource; Uint8Array.from is typed
over ArrayBufferLike, which the Vercel TypeScript build rejects. Decode
base64url into a Uint8Array constructed over a fresh ArrayBuffer.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(auth): address session-timeout review findings

- signSessionTimeoutState returns null on signing failure instead of
throwing, so a missing secret degrades the timeout feature in line
with verifySessionTimeoutState rather than crashing authenticated
requests; middleware and heartbeat skip the cookie write when null
- heartbeat initializes a fresh signed state for a missing or
session-mismatched cookie, mirroring middleware, instead of
  returning SESSION_EXPIRED during normal initialization
- sessionStateMatchesUser treats an unresolved current session id as
a mismatch for session-bound state so another session's cookie is
never accepted on the userId fallback alone
- drop aria-live from the countdown DialogDescription so screen
readers are not interrupted every second

Mattsson f24b26a139 fix: similar-sweep currency remediation, security hardening and v1 API fixes (#1215)
* fix(security): gate replace_sie_import behind owner/admin membership

The RPC was SECURITY DEFINER with EXECUTE granted to PUBLIC and anon, no
company_members lookup, no auth.uid() reference and no unauthorized raise,
while setting gnubok.allow_delete to disarm the BFL immutability and
retention triggers. Any caller holding a company_id and an import id could
hard delete another tenant's verifikationer. Confirmed live in production.

Applies the same fail closed owner/admin guard that undo_sie_import already
carries (migration 20260624120000), resolving the actor from
COALESCE(p_user_id, auth.uid()) so it denies when the role is NULL, then
revokes EXECUTE from PUBLIC and anon. search_path and the raised
statement_timeout are restated, since CREATE OR REPLACE drops settings that
are not repeated.

userId is a required parameter on replaceSIEImport: the service client has a
NULL auth.uid(), so a caller without an explicit actor now fails to compile
rather than hitting the closed gate at runtime.

* fix(security): validate arcim OAuth callback state server side

The callback route is skipAuth and decoded the state parameter as plain
base64url JSON, trusting consentId and provider from it. A one time code was
minted at flow start and never read. An unauthenticated attacker who learned
a consent id could run an OAuth flow on their own provider account and post
the callback with a forged state, landing their tokens on another tenant's
consent, so the victim's next migration imported the attacker's ledger.

State is now an opaque randomBytes(32) pointer to a provider_otc row,
consumed by a single atomic UPDATE guarded on used_at IS NULL and
expires_at, so a replay loses the row lock race and updates nothing.
provider is read from provider_consents rather than trusted from the client.
provider_otc already existed for exactly this purpose and was never wired up.

Also scopes getConsent to an owning company, closing a cross tenant status
oracle where the preview and migrate paths echoed a consent's status before
the scoped check ran.

* fix(security): scope documents storage to company_id (phase A)

The documents bucket policies matched on auth.uid(), and upload keys were
documents/{userId}/..., so company membership was never consulted. Removing a
member revoked nothing: their session still authenticated and they kept
direct Storage read access to every receipt, supplier invoice and bank
statement they had uploaded. The same bug was fixed for sie-files in
20260416120000; this bucket was left behind.

Phase A is additive. Company scoped policies are added alongside the
uploader scoped ones, uploads move to documents/{companyId}/{userId}/..., and
reads accept either layout so nothing breaks mid migration. Phase C, which
drops the old policies, is gated on the backfill reporting zero remaining
legacy prefix objects.

The policy compares the company segment as text rather than casting to uuid
the way sie-files does: this bucket holds keys whose second segment is not a
uuid (MCP audit packages), and Postgres does not guarantee the bucket prefix
qual runs before the cast, so a planner reordering would raise 22P02 and fail
the whole query instead of filtering the row out.

deleteDocument now removes both candidate keys. Removing only the stored
pointer would leave a readable orphan copy of a document the user asked to
erase.

The backfill script is included but has never been run. It defaults to dry
run, refuses .env.local by name, and verifies each copy is readable and
SHA-256 identical before repointing the row.

* fix(security): enforce events:read scope and membership on /api/events

This was the only one of the three validateApiKey call sites with no
downstream guard: v1 and the MCP server both check scope and re-verify
company membership, this route did neither. An events:read scope existed and
was documented as gating the endpoint but was never called, so a legacy key
falling back to DEFAULT_SCOPES read the full log. The bound company id went
straight from the api_keys row into a service role query, so a key whose user
had been removed from the company kept reading.

Adds the scope check before any database access, re-verifies company_members
with archived_at IS NULL, honours test mode by stamping X-Gnubok-Mode instead
of ignoring it, applies minimisePayload so the pull surface can never return
a wider payload than the push surface, and replaces the three flat error
strings with the canonical envelope.

Test key reads are served rather than blocked: TEST_KEY_WRITE_BLOCKED is
gated on mutations in with-api-v1, so a read gets the same treatment as every
other v1 read endpoint.

* perf(bookkeeping): sweep remaining journal_entries!inner embeds

A previous refactor removed this pattern from lib/reports and introduced
fetchEntryLines, but the class was never swept. Seventeen sites remained and
had become the top application consumer of production database time:
measured across the resulting query shapes, 32,694 calls and 25,848 seconds
of execution, mean 790ms, with shapes averaging 2.6s and 3.0s and maxing at
7,962ms against the 8s statement_timeout, which surfaced to users as 500s on
the booking path.

PostgREST compiles an embed with filters on the embedded side into a
correlated INNER JOIN LATERAL with a parameterized LIMIT, which stops
Postgres reordering the join, so each query walked the whole
journal_entry_lines table across all tenants. Driving from the entries side
instead turns that into two indexed round trips.

Converted sites keep their existing shape: the helper reattaches the parent
entry under the same key the embed produced. Several conversions also remove
a latent silent truncation where an unpaginated query was capped at
PostgREST's 1000 row ceiling.

Two deliberate exceptions. The free text ilike legs of the MCP display query
stay on the embed, because each is capped at legLimit and that cap drives the
truncation contract the tool reports, while the helper is unbounded. The
accounts route moves to the existing get_account_usage_counts RPC instead,
since its embed was a head count and the helper returns rows.

commitEntry's write path is untouched: the change there is confined to the
read query of the pre-commit dimension rule check.

* fix(api): anchor v1 list cursors on created_at

Page two returned page one, forever, while still advertising a fresh
next_cursor. The three routes sorted by and encoded a Postgres date column,
which serializes as YYYY-MM-DD, but decodeDefaultCursor validates the cursor
timestamp as full ISO-8601 and returned null, so the keyset filter was never
applied and has_more never went false. An integrator syncing verifikat looped
on the newest rows indefinitely.

The transactions route already solved this and its comment names the trap;
the fix was never ported. All three now order and encode on created_at with
an id tie break, matching the transactions keyset predicate exactly.
ISO_TIMESTAMP is deliberately left alone: relaxing it would silently change
sort semantics on the route that currently works.

Default ordering therefore moves from business date to insert order. Every
business date is still on the row, and the invoices list gains date_from and
date_to filters so a date range is still reachable; the other two already had
them.

The tests use an in-memory PostgREST that actually evaluates the filters,
because the repo's pass-through mock cannot catch this class of bug: the bug
is that the filter is never sent. They walk to exhaustion with a hard
iteration cap, so an unterminated walk fails instead of hanging.

* fix(api): separate dry run from commit in the idempotency hash

The request hash was built from url.pathname, which excludes the query
string, so a dry run and its commit hashed identically. Following the flow
documented in dry-run.ts, re-issuing the request with the same
Idempotency-Key returned the cached preview with Idempotent-Replayed set and
wrote nothing, while reporting 200. An agent or integrator saw success for a
write that never happened.

dry_run is folded into the hash only when true, not as an unconditional
boolean. Including it as false would change the hash of every ordinary write,
and with a 24h idempotency TTL any key in flight across the deploy would fail
the request_hash comparison and 409 on a legitimate retry. Both hash call
sites now go through one shared helper so they cannot drift into a permanent
cache miss, and dry run responses are no longer stored at all.

* ci: install the Bedrock SDK out of tree in the compliance review

The Swedish accounting compliance gate had failed ten consecutive runs and so
was posting nothing. With --no-package-lock npm discarded the lockfile and
re-resolved the whole tree from package.json, floating @hookform/resolvers to
5.4.3, whose valibot ^1 peer conflicts with the pinned valibot 0.39.0.

Installing into the parent of the checkout resolves only that one package, so
an unrelated peer conflict can never take the gate down again. Node still
finds it because ESM bare specifiers walk up parent node_modules; NODE_PATH
would not have worked, as it is CommonJS only. --legacy-peer-deps was
rejected because it masks future genuine peer conflicts and still reifies the
full tree.

The same step's SDK version is aligned from 0.31.0 back to the 0.29.1 that
package.json and check:guards enforce after the streaming outage. That drift
went unnoticed because the pin guard only inspects package.json and the
lockfile, never workflow files.

* build(docker): generate crontabs from vercel.json

vercel.json defines 16 cron jobs; both Docker crontabs carried 9, and were
byte identical to each other. Self hosted deployments therefore never sent
recurring invoices, never dispatched webhooks and never cleaned up
idempotency keys. tax-deadlines also ran once a year on 2 January instead of
daily, and documents/verify weekly instead of daily.

Extension crons are included rather than excluded. The Dockerfile copies the
whole tree before building, so every extension cron route is compiled into
the image regardless of the enabled preset, and each returns 200 when its
extension is unconfigured, so curl -sf logs no failure. Two such entries were
already present in the crontab for extensions absent from the preset, which
settles the intent.

documents/verify is treated as drift rather than a self hosted concession:
the weekly cadence was present in the hosted crontab too, and the run is
capped at 200 documents walking a nulls-first queue, so weekly drains the
integrity queue seven times slower on a check that exists for BFL retention.

webhooks/dispatch keeps its per minute cadence, adding 1,440 requests a day
on self hosted. A gentler tick would silently stretch the first retry, since
the retry ladder opens at 60 seconds. SCHEDULE_OVERRIDES is the one line
place to change that.

A parity test asserts the path sets match minus a documented exclusion list,
and ratchets three cron routes that are currently scheduled nowhere so they
are named rather than silently rotting.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* chore(observability): add a provider agnostic error sink

There is no error tracking in this codebase: logs go to console and Vercel
retention and nowhere else, nothing alerts on the 16 cron jobs, and seven
code comments across lib, app, components and extensions asserted that Sentry
captures errors when Sentry is not a dependency. The two most recent bug
fixes on this repo were both discovered by customer email.

This adds the sink, not a vendor. No dependency is taken: the interface has a
no-op default and a registration point, so behaviour is unchanged until an
adapter is registered. Releases are tagged from the build id already inlined
by next.config.ts.

Redaction moved out of lib/logger.ts into a leaf module that both the logger
and the sink import, so there is one denylist and no path from application
data to a third party can skip the personnummer regex, including direct sink
calls that bypass the logger. That matters here because these logs carry
personnummer and financial data.

verifyCronSecret now reports its own 401s, which covers all 16 jobs without
touching a route file and catches the case where CRON_SECRET is rotated
without updating the scheduler and every job silently 401s forever. The
threshold is one failure rather than the backup alert's three: suppressing
the first occurrence is precisely how an outage stays invisible.

The seven misleading comments are corrected to describe what the code
actually does, including the two cases that still are not covered: the client
side one, since the sink is server side, and a warn level call that is not
forwarded.

* fix: remediate the 2026-07-26 similar-sweep findings across all surfaces

Resolves the ~150-finding sweep (dev_docs/similar-sweep-2026-07-26.md) with
one agent per finding; every behavioural fix carries a regression test proven
to fail at HEAD. Full status, corrections to the sweep, refusals and open
decisions in dev_docs/similar-sweep-2026-07-26-remediation-status.md.

Structural roots closed:
- resolveSekAmountOrNull(): honest SEK resolution refuses instead of booking
1:1; four duplicated toSek closures now refuse via INVOICE_FX_RATE_MISSING
- ledger-line-amount.ts: journal_entry_lines.currency labels the document,
not the amount; SQL pre-filter decoy proven and fixed
- sparse-patch.ts: .partial() does not strip .default() in Zod 4.4.3; the
exploitable salary payslip-line PATCH and KPI preferences sinks fixed
- tests/schema: migration-replay phantom-column guard (13k+ refs, closed
CHECK sets, onConflict targets); found 28 real defects, all fixed, all
  four baselines now empty
- three new ratchet guards: sek-labelled-amount, cross-extension-import,
  ungated-extension-route

Highlights: lawful VAT-rate set on all seven invoice surfaces (ML 6 kap),
RC input VAT mismatch wired on web + both MCP callers, missing-underlag
resource delegates to the shared RPC predicate, push-notifications consent
polarity fail-closed, deadlines undo honours requested state, silent-failure
and read-side-fabrication classes fixed across settings/KPI/inbox/Stripe/
Arcim/kassaflodesanalys, error-envelope stringification fixed at 10+ sites
with isSwedishUserMessage extended.

Also includes the parallel session's MCP invoice tools (update_invoice,
recurring schedules, invoice deliveries) which share files with the sweep
work and are verified green together.

13 new migrations are NOT applied anywhere; they apply via branch merge.
20260726120000 backfills 1247 supplier-invoice rows. pg tests for new
DDL are written but unrun (no local Postgres).

Verified: 11088 tests / 881 files green, tsc 0 non-test errors, lint 0
errors, check:guards passing, MCP payload 57475/57500.

* fix(migrations): rename replace_sie_import migration off main's 20260726090000 version

origin/main shipped 20260726090000_agent_quota_rpc_caller_guard.sql; keeping
our replace_sie_import migration on the same version would abort the Supabase
apply with a schema_migrations_pkey duplicate at merge time.

* fix(review): remediate pre-publish deep-review findings across all slices

A 13-agent review of the full branch diff surfaced 1 critical, 5 high and
~45 further findings; this commit resolves them in one pass:

- replace_sie_import / undo_sie_import: p_user_id honored only for
service_role callers; any other caller is pinned to auth.uid()
(impersonation gate bypass), authz raise errcode 42501 mapped to a
Swedish 403 in the route, new caller-guard migration for undo
- bulk_book_transactions refuses homogeneous non-SEK batches instead of
writing foreign magnitudes into SEK ledger columns
- credit-note cap trigger: company-match on credited_invoice_id, no
  cross-tenant figures in exception text
- link_voucher RPCs resolve NULL invoice currency as SEK end to end
- personal-number ciphertext CHECK split into NOT VALID + VALIDATE
- same-currency foreign settlements clear 1510 at booking rate and book
realized diff to 3960/7960; rate-less foreign write paths refuse
- receivables revaluation covers partially_paid and outstanding amounts
- period lock guard paginates candidates past the PostgREST 1000 cap
- documents: service-client storage removals after authz, dual-layout
reads in integrity cron and archive export, backfill delete-source
sweep actually deletes with hash verification and shared-key grouping
- invoice matching normalizes NULL/lowercase currencies (regression),
duplicate candidates stop claiming amount matches they never ran
- match-invoice aborts on any booking failure (no paid-without-verifikat)
- refresh-exchange-rate reverts on concurrent booking (TOCTOU window)
- KPI preferences upsert arbiter aligned to the company-scoped constraint
- personnummer_last4 stripped from all salary responses incl. MCP tools
- worked-hours batch restores destroyed rows on conflict and error paths
- MCP: shared duplicate-claim builder (no more 'null kr'), short-circuit
on tag_journal_lines overflow, auto_send schedules stage as high risk
- observability sink redacts emails/IBANs/API keys and keeps redacted
stacks in prod; assorted small guards (safe-return-to /@, dry_run=True,
cursor helper off-by-one, OAuth state TTL 10 min, arcim saveMappings
  call removed)

Full dispositions, deferred items and hand-verified accounting numbers
are documented in the PR body and DECISIONS.md.

* feat(personnummer): implement masking and encryption for personal numbers with tests

* fix(review): address CI and compliance-bot findings for PR #1215

pg-real: the CI image's auth shim reads the legacy request.jwt.claim.role
GUC, so both service-role simulations (runAsServiceRole and the
invoice-delivery test's local helper) never satisfied auth.role() =
'service_role' and every legitimate p_user_id path failed closed; the
shared helper now sets both GUC shapes plus SET LOCAL ROLE with a
fail-loud sanity check, and the delivery test reuses it. The link-voucher
migration had recreated both RPCs from pre-rewrite file text,
reintroducing the NULL-unsafe membership pattern the
null-safe-tenant-guards ratchet bans; both guards now use
public.caller_is_company_member() with all currency changes preserved.

Compliance bots: the customers export now emits the standard masked form
instead of raw AES-256-GCM ciphertext in the Org-/personnummer column,
and maskCustomerRow returns a non-round-trippable placeholder on decrypt
failure instead of 500ing the list. MCP parity: gnubok_lock_period's
staging pre-check now runs the exact countUnbookedInPeriod the commit
path enforces (exported from period-service; local mirror deleted), and
gnubok_agi_status resolves AGI state run-scoped so a correction run no
longer renders as already filed.

Declined with evidence: PR-Agent's opening-balances null-zeroing concern
(all mergeable columns are NOT NULL with defaults per 20260713101000).

* fix(review): address codex review findings on PR #1215

- restore 20260726140000 to its preview-recorded content and restate the
NULL-safe tenant guard under 20260727130000: a recorded migration version
never re-runs, so the in-place edit could not reach the preview branch
- replace toFixed() with sv-SE two-decimal formatting in the ROT/RUT cap
warning texts and update the pinned test expectations
- drop the em dash in the fiscal-periods route comment
- strip trailing whitespace in import-existing.test.ts

Mattsson 288915c152 Fix/fdb fr usrs (#1125)
* fix(invoices): return attachment filename in delivery history summaries

The 20260723003000 hardening dropped attachment_filename from
list_invoice_delivery_summaries, so the delivery history UI always fell
back to the generic "faktura.pdf" label. Recreate the RPC with the
filename included: it is derived from company name, customer name,
invoice number, and date, all already visible to every company member,
so the minimization boundary is unchanged. Addresses stay masked and
message content, BCC, and checksums stay server-side.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(reconciliation): surface own-account transfer legs in match-to-voucher by default

The second (incoming) leg of a transfer between two of the company's own
bank accounts was hidden in the 'Matcha mot befintlig verifikation' dialog
because the voucher counted as 'already matched' once its outgoing leg was
linked, even though the incoming account's line had no settling transaction.
Users read the empty default list as 'the app won't let me link this'.

get_account_gl_lines_for_matching now counts links per settlement account:
a transaction provably on another cash account no longer marks the voucher
as matched for the requested account, so the unsettled transfer leg surfaces
by default (and auto-selects on an exact match). Same-account N:1 stays
behind the 'Visa aven matchade verifikationer' opt-in, and transactions
without a resolvable cash account conservatively keep counting everywhere.
get_unlinked_gl_lines is deliberately untouched (feeds auto-reconcile).

Companion guard: mark_entry_as_opening_balance now refuses entries with
linked bank transactions, since half-settled transfer vouchers became
reachable in the reconciliation view's unmatched table where 'Mark som IB'
renders; re-tagging one would strand its transaction against a movement-
excluded entry. getReconciliationStatus counts unmatched GL lines with the
account-scoped RPC so the status card agrees with the table.

* perf(api): cut prod p95 latency via local JWT auth, single-RT company resolution, and report aggregate RPCs

Baseline 2026-07-23 (487 prod samples): p50 160ms, p95 480ms, 13% of

- requireAuth: verify JWTs locally via getClaims (ES256/JWKS) instead of
a second network getUser per request; getUser fallback keeps HS256
self-hosted and existing test mocks working; middleware still
  revocation-checks every /api request
- resolve_active_company RPC (20260723161000): one round trip replaces
2-3 queries in getActiveCompanyId and middleware; PGRST202/42501 fall
back to the legacy query path
- arsredovisning build-data: ~33 sequential round trips down to ~7,
  output byte-identical (snapshot-proven)
- currency rate route: stop bypassing the exchange_rates cache (missing
supabase arg caused an external Riksbanken call on every request)
- document.get: parallelize row fetch, signed URL and audit event
- list_company_accounts RPC (20260723170000): accounts list in one round
trip instead of paging past PostgREST's 1000-row cap
- vat-declaration route: drop a dead sequential company_settings query
- get_kpi_report_aggregates RPC (20260723180000): KPI report's three
full-period line scans collapsed into one aggregate call; dimension-
  filtered path unchanged
- lint: fix 9 baseline errors, downgrade 4 react-hooks compiler rules to
warn, zero the eslint baseline ratchet

All four gates green: lint 0 errors, 9163 tests, check:guards, build.
Migrations applied idempotently to staging only; prod receives them via
Supabase branching on merge.

* fix(review): resolve PR review findings across auth, VAT declaration, and IB retag

- requireAuth getClaims fast path: pin iss (project URL) and aud
('authenticated'), log every fallback to getUser (ASVS V9.1 finding)
- remove the ignored accountingMethod parameter from calculateVatDeclaration
and the dead company_settings.accounting_method reads in xlsx/pdf/eskd
routes; v1 API keeps accepting the query param but documents it as a no-op
- close the mark_entry_as_opening_balance TOCTOU race with a transactions
  trigger (20260723190000, FOR KEY SHARE on journal_entries) + pg tests;
applied to staging and smoke-verified both directions
- re-add the 42501 tenant guard to branch-local migration 20260723160000
(function body had silently reverted to the pre-20260619130100 definition)
- document the buildK3Noter tbFullRows full-TB contract (uppskjuten skatt
opening balance per BFNAR 2012:1 ch.29)
- add KPI VAT-liability test covering reduced-rate output accounts 2621/2631

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(db): use NULL-safe caller_is_company_member in opening-balance retag guard

The re-added tenant guard carried the pre-20260703180000 raw
NOT IN (SELECT user_company_ids()) pattern, which the
null-safe-tenant-guards ratchet blocks. Staging re-synced.

Jakob Wennberg 97907a5a5c fix: article ordering, free-text rows, invoice back-nav, onboarding resilience (#1053) (#1056)
* fix: article number ordering, free-text rows, invoice back-nav, onboarding resilience (#1053)

Four fixes from Discord feedback in issue #1053:

- Articles now order by article number with numeric-aware comparison
('2' before '10', unnumbered last, name tiebreak) in the invoice
editor's article picker and as the register's default sort, via a
shared lib/articles/sort.ts. Name order put article "1" last.

- Invoice rows with no amounts (quantity 0, unit price 0) render as
pure text rows on the PDF, the invoice detail page, and the review
step via shared isTextLikeLine(), instead of printing
  "0 / 0,00 SEK / 0,00 SEK". Display-only; booking untouched.

- The invoice editor navigates with router.replace after saving, so
the detail page's back arrow returns to the list instead of
reopening a fresh editor from history.

- A transient query failure no longer reads as "no companies" /
  "onboarding not done": getActiveCompanyId throws
  CompanyContextError('resolution_failed') instead of returning null,
the Edge middleware fails open on a degraded resolution (no
onboarding redirect, no cookie clearing, no locale overwrite), and
the dashboard page only redirects to /onboarding on a positively
read incomplete/missing settings row. This is the likely cause of
  the completed onboarding wizard reappearing.

Fixes #1053

* docs: CLAUDE.md tenancy line matches actual resolution order (prefs-first, cookie not read)

The middleware stopped reading the gnubok-company-id cookie when
user_preferences became authoritative (RLS parity); the stale doc line
still described cookie-first order and misled review tooling.

Jakob Wennberg 573feea890 perf: cross-system snappiness batch (middleware, loading states, bundle) (#909)
* perf: cross-system snappiness batch (middleware, loading states, bundle)

Middleware: resolve the active company at most once per request and run
the user_preferences + first-membership queries in parallel, cutting 1-2
sequential DB round trips from every authenticated page load.

Loading states: add loading.tsx skeletons for the six highest-traffic
dashboard routes, render the real salary page header during load instead
of a full-page skeleton, replace the blank fallback={null} Suspense
flashes on customers/articles, and reshape the settings skeleton to
match the actual form layout.

Bundle: defer recharts chart components via next/dynamic on the KPI page
and report views, replace the import page's framer-motion marching-ants
border with a CSS keyframe, and enable optimizePackageImports for
recharts/date-fns/framer-motion.

Transactions: extract the potential-match lookups into a shared parallel
helper; a single-query PostgREST embed is blocked until the
potential_supplier_invoice_id FK exists in prod (see DECISIONS.md).

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(transactions): log potential-match query failures instead of dropping them

A DB error in the invoice/supplier-invoice hint lookups previously
surfaced as "no potential match"; log it so failures are diagnosable.

Mattsson 2c2743eb79 Check/salary bankid api (#892)
* fix(bankid): harden login/signup flow — polling, signup rollback, metadata merge, enrichment lookup

- middleware: read BankID enrichment from the bankid_enrichment table (the
extension_data path has been dead since the multi-tenant refactor), so
company-less BankID users land on /select-company instead of the manual wizard
- BankIdAuth: hard 6-min poll deadline; every failed poll counts toward the
give-up limit; guard overlapping ticks so completion runs exactly once
(a double /complete regenerated the magic link and invalidated the first,
failing logins intermittently); retry clicks wait out the start cooldown
instead of silently no-oping; Swedish messages for 429/unknown start errors
- bankid/complete: all-or-nothing signup — delete the created user when the
identity insert, app_metadata update, or magic-link generation fails, so a
retry starts clean instead of hitting account_exists with an unusable account
- bankid/unlink: read-merge-write app_metadata so has_password survives unlink
(BankID-only users could otherwise strand themselves with no login method)
- login: BankID "create account" CTA now links to /register instead of
dismissing the notice; sv.json: fix missing å/ä/ö in settings_bankid strings

* docs: move secondary guides into docs/, delete dead root files

Move DOCKER.md, SELF-HOSTING.md, WHITELABEL.md and extensions.md
(renamed EXTENSIONS.md) into a new docs/ folder and update all path
references (README, setup.sh, .dockerignore image rules, docker-publish
workflow comment, _example-branding, lib/branding/service.ts).

Delete two dead root files: customer.json (stray API-test payload) and
findings.md (point-in-time swarm audit export, criticals already filed).

* fix(api): security & correctness hardening + withRouteContext MFA migration across API routes

Audit of ~100 app/api routes. Highlights:

Security
- agent/conversations: list leaked colleagues' titles + message previews
  (company-scoped RLS, no user filter) -> user-scoped
- calendar/feed PUT: raw body into .update() allowed feed_token fixation on a
public unauthenticated URL -> strict schema, content toggles only
- bokslutsdispositioner: unbounded schablonintaktRate could inflate the
IL 30 kap 25% periodiseringsfond cap base -> bounded
- agent profile/composer/onboarding: viewers could rewrite the agent profile
  while sibling /verify blocked them -> role-gated

Correctness
- account-totals / listAssets: unbounded queries silently truncated at 1000
rows (under-counted money; skipped assets at year-end depreciation) ->
fetchAllRows with stable order (+3 more pagination fixes)
- voucher-gaps: swallowed detect_voucher_gaps RPC errors (BFNAR gap view could
show "no gaps" when the check never ran) -> surfaced
- 5 phantom-success writes (OK on zero matched rows) fixed
- assets K3 component-sum validated against stale acquisition_cost -> fixed
- invite silent email-send failure -> response carries email_sent;
  deadlines/calendar cast-then-check JSON crashes -> Zod

Convention
- ~44 legacy routes converted to withRouteContext (MFA); added Zod validation,
corrected status codes, console.* -> lib/logger

Response shapes preserved for existing callers. ~110 new tests.

* feat(bookkeeping): save a booking as a reusable template from Bokför direkt

Add a "Spara som mall" action to the manual booking dialog so users can
capture a kontering they just worked out as a booking template — right
where they figured out how something should be booked.

- derive amount-parameterised template lines from the concrete booking
(settlement = the non-VAT leg nearest the total, 26xx = a VAT line with
its rate snapped to the nearest standard rate, the rest = business
ratios; line labels come from the loaded BAS chart)
- extract the shared TemplateForm out of BookingTemplatesPanel so the
booking dialog reuses the same editor, live preview and convertibility
  hints instead of duplicating them
- save via the existing POST /api/settings/booking-templates endpoint

* fix(bokslut): render arsredovisning RR/BR at ÅRL post level — no kontonummer

Bolagsverket rejected a user's filed årsredovisning with "Balansräkning
och resultaträkning ska inte innehålla kontonummer": the PDF built every
statement row as per-account "1930 Företagskonto" lines while the iXBRL
filing path already aggregated to statutory posts, so the two artifacts
diverged.

The PDF statements now derive from the same K2 risbs mapping the iXBRL
document uses (mapTrialBalancesToK2), via a new statement-rows.ts that
emits post-level rows in uppställningsform order for both the K2 and K3
templates. Also fixed along the way:

- Jämförelseår column (ÅRL 3:5 §) — previous-year trial balances now load
and render; the old PDF had no comparatives at all.
- mapping.warnings (unmapped accounts, RR ≠ 2099, obalans, reclass
nudges) flow into ArsredovisningData.warnings so the wizard flags a
  non-fileable document before download.
- Flerårsöversikt current/previous year overridden with the mapper's
  strict-3000–3799 Nettoomsattning, mirroring build-input's
duplicate-fact rule, so the FB table ties to the RR.
- FB eget kapital-table is post-level and drops obeskattade reserver
(never eget kapital); K3 equity-changes statement uses real prior-year
opening balances with derived utdelning/nyemission residuals that tie
the roll-forward exactly to booked UB.
- build-input dedupes warnings now that the PDF path runs the same
  mapping.

Regression test asserts no RR/BR label ever contains a four-digit
account number again.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(reports): diagnose untransferred prior-year results behind balance-sheet differens

Prod incident (97 kr): a multi-year SIE migration lacked one year's
omforing av arets resultat; the residual corrupted every later derived
opening balance and Balansrakningen showed a bare "Differens: 97 kr"
with no explanation. Continuity checking cannot catch this failure mode
(prior-year UB and derived IB match per-account by construction) - the
invariant that actually breaks is per-year P&L = 0 for all non-latest
years.

- lib/reports/imbalance-diagnosis.ts: shared detector
  (findUntransferredResults + buildImbalanceDiagnosis)
- Balansrakning/Balansrapport attach imbalance_diagnosis when unbalanced,
naming the exact culprit years; rendered in web views + PDF; MCP
gnubok_get_balance_sheet inherits the field via spread
- SIE import: parse-time warning when a completed year's vouchers leave
a P&L residual, plus a post-import DB walk surfacing culprits as
warnings and structured details.untransferredResults; the Arcim
migration workspace previously dropped result.warnings entirely and
  now renders them
- opening-balance/correct: pre-flight the company lock date and return
409 OB_COMPANY_LOCK_DATE (retryable: false, lock date interpolated in
the client message) instead of the retryable 500 that invited blind
retries; catch-path maps a raced trigger rejection to the same code

Diagnosis runs only on unbalanced paths (zero cost when healthy) and
never fails the report or the import. No migration, nothing persisted.

* fix: production error remediation — FX rates, deadlines, log levels, correction relink

Batch of fixes for recurring Vercel runtime errors:

- Riksbanken FX rates: persistent read-through cache (exchange_rates
table), one retry honoring Retry-After on 429/5xx, bounded ingest
concurrency, and an honest fallback — most recent cached observation
or null, never a hardcoded rate silently booked into amount_sek.
Unrated transactions stay repairable via refresh-exchange-rate.
- Tax deadline regeneration inserts replacement rows before deleting
the superseded set, so a failed insert no longer wipes a company's
deadlines (the 23502 user_id regression did exactly that). Migration
makes deadlines.user_id nullable for system-generated rows.
- Route wrappers + errorResponse log 4xx outcomes at warn so only
  genuine 5xx reach Vercel's runtime-error clustering; client-supplied
/api/log telemetry demoted to warn as well.
- application/json documents (raw PSD2 responses archived per BFL)
validate as parseable JSON with object/array root instead of always
  failing the magic-byte check.
- correctEntry surfaces document-relink failures to callers, and the
BFL document-immutability trigger now allows relinking underlag from
a reversed entry to its correction (migration + pg test).
- Middleware clears stale session cookies on /api requests too, using
scope 'local' so cleanup doesn't re-trigger the failed token refresh.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(skatteverket): persist token health and stop retrying dead consents

Terminal auth errors (SESSION_EXPIRED, REFRESH_EXHAUSTED, MISSING_SCOPE,
TOKEN_CORRUPTED) mark the token row needs_reconsent with the error code
and timestamp — SKV per-flow refresh tokens live 65 minutes, so once
expired nothing recovers without a fresh BankID consent. The AGI
kvittens and skattekonto sync crons skip flagged connections instead of
failing every night, and the settings panel prompts for re-consent
proactively. A successful reconnect resets the row to active.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(banking): allocate distinct BAS ledger slots for PSD2 mirror accounts

A bank returning N same-currency accounts used to map them all onto the
currency default (1930/1932/1933/1934), tripping the UNIQUE
(company_id, ledger_account) constraint per-account — swallowed errors
left accounts silently unmirrored. allocatePsd2LedgerAccount now hands
out the currency default first, then free 1931–1959 sub-account slots,
skipping slots held by any existing row.

- Callback persists allocations to accounts_data so the picker pre-fills
reality; reconnect reuses previously mirrored ledgers instead of
  re-deriving (a user remap to 1935 survives).
- Selection save resolves effective ledgers up front and rejects
duplicates or cross-connection conflicts with a 400 instead of
  silently skipping the mirror.
- Bank error codes + psu_type are forwarded to the settings page for
every OAuth error, keying the Handelsbanken corporate fullmakt
  guidance.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(agent): stage exact journal lines on categorization previews

Categorization previews only carried debit/credit accounts, the GROSS
amount, and separate VAT rows — read together that looks like an
unbalanced 'gross on cost account + VAT debit' entry, and it misled
both users and agents into rejecting correct proposals. The MCP
preview and the pending-operation PATCH now materialize the exact
lines the commit executor will post (net cost line, VAT line, gross
bank line, SEK) via buildTransactionEntryLines, and PATCH re-derives
them from the new mapping instead of spreading stale staged lines.
ApprovalCard and /pending render the verifikat lines, falling back to
the legacy summary only for operations staged before this fix.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(bookkeeping): prune unused imported accounts from the chart

SIE imports routinely bring in hundreds of accounts that were never
used and clutter the kontoplan. New account_usage_counts RPC (one
grouped query instead of a count per account) backs GET
/api/bookkeeping/accounts/usage, and POST /api/bookkeeping/accounts/prune
deletes zero-usage accounts — dry-run first, then an explicit account
list capped at 2000. Accounts with journal lines are skipped, never
deleted. The chart manager shows a usage column and a prune dialog
grouping custom accounts vs unused BAS-seeded ones.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(api): carry dimensions through v1 invoice and supplier-invoice surfaces

Credit-note creation now copies default_dimensions and per-line
dimensions from the original, so the reversing journal entry nets
against the same dimension cells instead of dropping them. List/detail
responses expose the dimension fields, and the OpenAPI spec snapshot
follows.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* perf: batch serial Supabase round-trips on hot dashboard paths

Every dashboard render pays the layout's query chain, so serialized
awaits are direct wall-clock: the layout, chat conversation, invoice
detail, supplier detail, select-company, and agent-onboarding pages now
run their independent lookups in parallel batches, and
getCompanyCapabilities folds its disabled-config read into the same
round-trip. JournalEntryList hydrates the saved fiscal-year scope
optimistically instead of serializing the first entries fetch behind
the fiscal-periods request. The supplier detail page filters invoices
server-side via a new supplier_id query param instead of fetching the
whole company ledger, and the invoice editor (with its framer-motion
dependency) lazy-loads so it stops shipping with the invoice list
bundle.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(salary): one-click runs, payslip delivery, payments settings, run cockpit

Salary P1 batch, driving the 20-click flow toward 3 clicks:

- One-click 'Starta lönekörning': POST /api/salary/runs accepts an
empty body and resolves defaults server-side — period follows the
latest non-corrected run, payment date from the new
salary_pay_day setting, series from the per-source-type map. The
  separate /salary/runs/new page is gone.
- Run detail page rebuilt as a step-railed cockpit (progress rail,
KPI cards, employee ledger, journal preview) on a deliberately
wider canvas; components extracted to components/salary/run/.
- Payslip delivery: tokenized public payslip pages (/payslip/[token],
backed by salary_payslip_links) plus per-employee email send with
PDF — employees need no account, and the middleware exempts the
  route from auth redirects.
- Payments settings: salary pay day, default bank, and pain.001 vs
Bankgirot Lön format with per-bank upload instructions and an LB
sunset warning (banks retire LB during 2026).
- AGI panel: full submission status flows (stale drafts, signing
links, kvittens polling, error reports); tax payment panel with
  skattekonto shortcut and mark-as-paid.
- Salary calendar bulk editing, employee benefits/tax-card polish,
  municipality tax-table lookup improvements.

messages/sv+en also carry the strings for the account-prune,
skatteverket-reconsent, and banking surfaces committed just before
this.

* chore: adopt Next 16 proxy.ts convention + repo housekeeping

- Rename middleware.ts to proxy.ts with the proxy() export (Next 16
renamed the middleware convention; behavior unchanged).
- Exclude dev_docs/ from tsconfig so stray snippets in planning docs
  don't break the build type-check.
- Ratchet antipatterns-baseline down (raw-route-auth 165 → 119) to
lock in the withRouteContext migration from 5cfd2b76.
- template-library uses roundOre() instead of inline rounding.
- database.md: drop account_balances from the key-tables list.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(bookkeeping): robust service-role detection in correction document relink

relink_documents_to_correction() keyed its service-role branch on auth.role(),
which reads the singular request.jwt.claim.role GUC that PostgREST v10+ and the
pg-real harness no longer populate. Genuine service-role callers (pending-ops
executor / MCP approve) landed in the auth gate and could not relink underlag.
Read the role from the request.jwt.claims JSON directly, mirroring the canonical
link_voucher_rpcs_tenant_guard convention. Validated on staging.

Also: harden the salary run page's error paths (res.json().catch) against
non-JSON error bodies, and roll back the pg-real service-role case in finally so
an aborted transaction cannot poison a pooled connection for the next test.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(documents): restore journal_entry_line_id link durability (BFL 7 kap)

Migration 20260704103000 rewrote enforce_document_journal_entry_immutability to
guard journal_entry_id but left journal_entry_line_id to the metadata trigger,
which exempts draft-linked docs -- and the entry-level trigger only fired on
UPDATE OF journal_entry_id, so a line-id-only UPDATE never invoked it at all.
That let a set journal_entry_line_id be cleared to NULL, breaking the "link
durable from first set" invariant (document-immutability.pg regression).

Widen the trigger to fire on journal_entry_line_id too and guard it with the
same uuid-durability rule as journal_entry_id (setting NULL -> uuid stays
allowed; clearing/re-pointing a set value is blocked, status-independent). The
correction-relink GUC path, which legitimately clears line_id when moving
underlag to the posted correction, stays exempt. Validated on staging.

Jakob Wennberg ec27228a8e style: remove em/en dashes repo-wide, add CLAUDE.md rule against them (#890)
Em dashes (—) and en dashes (–) had spread across comments, docs, tests,
and a few UI strings, reading as AI-generated boilerplate rather than
house style. Replaced each with punctuation matching its context: colon
for explanatory clauses, comma for asides, plain hyphen for numeric/legal
ranges (e.g. "21-23§"), "to"/"till" for date ranges, parentheses for
paired-dash asides. messages/en.json and messages/sv.json were fixed by
hand together to keep sv/en in sync.

Left untouched where the dash is the functional subject rather than
decorative punctuation: date-range-parser.ts's separator regex,
charset-repair.ts's CP1252 byte-mapping table (and its test), the SIE
encoding mojibake docs, generic-csv.ts's minus-sign normalizer, the
agent system-prompt files that already instruct against em dashes, and
a golden iXBRL test fixture compared byte-for-byte.

Also fixes two bugs surfaced along the way: an off-by-one in
ApiKeysPanel's scope-label split (a leftover from an earlier partial
pass), and a charset-repair test that had lost the literal en-dash it
exists to verify.

Regenerated the agent atom seed migration (skills:generate) since 27
SKILL.md files changed. Added a CLAUDE.md rule against em/en dashes,
with an explicit carve-out for the functional-dash cases above.

Mattsson 237b77a366 feat: custom inbound mail domains, rot/rut payout file, invoice email texts, security hardening (#878)
* fix(security): guard MCP test keys, RLS role gate + voucher RPC guards, /api MFA gate, deps

- MCP: force dry-run / block writes for test-mode API keys in tools/call (extensions/general/mcp-server)
- DB: current_user_can_write role gate on write policies (40 tables) + tenant guards, SET search_path, REVOKE anon on commit_journal_entry / next_voucher_number / detect_voucher_gaps (migration 20260702093000)
- Middleware: MFA (AAL2) gate on cookie-authenticated /api routes via apiPathSkipsMfaGate
- Deps: npm audit fix clears mailparser/linkify-it/nodemailer/svix/uuid highs; xlsx -> SheetJS 0.20.3

Adds unit + pg-real tests. Does not touch in-progress ROT/RUT or invoice-email-texts work.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat(invoices): rot/rut begäran om utbetalning — HUS XML (V6), payout tracking + settlement, MCP tool

Generates Skatteverkets begäran-om-utbetalning file (schema V6) from paid
ROT/RUT invoices — no submission API exists, the file is uploaded manually
at skatteverket.se. Headless by design for now: API routes + MCP tool
(gnubok_generate_rot_rut_file), no UI surfaces.

- lib/invoices/rot-rut-file.ts: pure XML generator with deterministic
per-invoice blockers (hours, work type, personnummer, property info,
mixed rot+rut, XSD limits) + 31 January deadline warnings
- rot_rut_payout_requests(+items) tables: one active begäran per invoice
(DB triggers incl. reactivation guard), RLS, audit, pg-real tests
- Settlement: POST /settle books debit 1930 / credit 1513 via the engine
  (source_type rot_rut_payout); partial payouts → partially_paid
- Work-type lists corrected against Begaran.xsd: IT-tjänster is rut-only,
  snöskottning/tillsyn/tvätt added (schablontjänster utfört-only)
- Fix: invoice-level fastighetsbeteckning was validated but never

* feat(invoices): per-company editable invoice email texts

Add an "E-posttexter" section under Settings -> Fakturering where the
subject, greeting, body and sign-off of the standard invoice email can
be customized per company in Swedish and English. Fields pre-fill with
the standard texts and only diffs from the standard are stored
(company_settings.invoice_email_texts JSONB), so future improvements to
the stock wording still reach companies that have not customized. Each
field has a reset-to-standard button; cleared fields snap back.

Texts support a fixed placeholder set (invoice number, customer name,
first name, company, due date, amount) substituted at send time in a
single pass; unknown placeholders stay literal. Custom texts are
HTML-escaped after substitution, newlines become <br> in the HTML
variant, and subject lines are flattened to a single header line.
Overrides apply to standard invoices only - credit notes, proforma and
delivery notes keep the stock texts. All send paths (UI, v1 API, MCP
approval, recurring) pick the texts up via the existing settings row.

The Zod schema half of this change (InvoiceEmailTextsSchema in
lib/api/schemas.ts) was inadvertently included in 8291f745.

* fix(documents): accept PDFs with preamble before %PDF- header, surface content rejections as 400

detectFileMagic required the %PDF- signature at byte 0 (BOM aside),
rejecting genuine PDFs that carry a leading newline or junk bytes —
files every ISO 32000 reader opens fine. Now scan the first 1024 bytes
for the signature, matching real-reader behavior. Image types stay
strict at offset 0 to keep the anti-placeholder defense tight.

Magic-byte rejections were also mislabeled as DOC_UPLOAD_STORAGE_FAILED
(500 'Filen kunde inte sparas'), blaming storage for a client-side file
problem. Both upload routes now map them to a new
DOC_UPLOAD_INVALID_CONTENT (400) with an accurate message.

* feat(bookkeeping): full keyboard flow for manual journal entry

Enter now drives the whole verifikat flow: verifikationstext drops into
the first row missing an account, konto commits advance to debet, Enter
on an empty debet hops to kredit, and an entered amount jumps to the
next row. Once the voucher balances, Enter opens the review (unchanged
gate) and the auto-focused confirm posts it — including through the
no-underlag warning dialog. Escape in the inline review goes back to
the form.

Also fixes an Enter footgun in AccountCombobox: a bare Enter on a
freshly focused field no longer selects the first account in the list —
selection now requires typing or arrow navigation; otherwise Enter
re-commits the current value or bubbles to the form-level handler.

* feat: add custom inbound domains management for companies

- Implemented functionality to allow companies to claim and manage their own inbound email domains via Resend's API.
- Created a new table `company_inbound_domains` to store domain information, including status and DNS records.
- Added necessary RLS policies to restrict access based on user roles (owner/admin).
- Developed functions for domain normalization, validation, claiming, verification, and removal.
- Implemented webhook handling for domain status updates from Resend.
- Added comprehensive tests for RLS, constraints, and triggers related to the new domain management feature.

* fix: address PR #878 review findings and CI failures

- migrations: drop the ai_usage_tracking policy block from the role-gate
migration — the table was removed by 20260504120000_remove_ai_subsystem
and only lingers on staging as drift; a from-scratch chain (pg-real,
  Supabase preview) failed on it
- invoice-inbox: never flip a custom domain to verified off a domain.updated
webhook alone — confirm the receiving capability with Resend first
(fail-closed); normalize both sides of the orphan-adoption domain match
- rot/rut: block files where begärt belopp exceeds what the buyer paid
(DEDUCTION_EXCEEDS_PAYMENT); tighten brf_org_number validation to real
orgnr shapes; parameterize the settlement bank account (19xx, default 1930)
- rot/rut routes: log acting user on financial mutations, stop swallowing
item mirror errors, narrow response projections (no customer ids through
the invoice join); document the deliberate inline-XML decision
- documents: stop echoing raw storage-layer error messages to clients

* fix: round-2 CI + compliance findings on PR #878

- migrations: the role-gate migration targeted automation_webhooks, which
20260515170000_webhooks_v2 renamed to webhooks on the canonical chain
(staging kept the old name — drift); gate public.webhooks instead,
dropping legacy schema-sync policy names defensively. Restore the
20260623130000 owner fallback in next_voucher_number that the stale
copied-verbatim body silently reverted (caught by engine.pg locally).
Full migration chain verified from scratch against supabase/postgres:15.
- mcp: bump the tools/list payload ceiling 44K -> 45K — main's #877
qualified-identifier schemas plus this branch's rot/rut tool crossed the
ceiling only in combination; documented in the test's history log.
- rot/rut: refuse partial settlement before Skatteverkets beslut is
  recorded (would bypass the PATCH lifecycle and strand the request);
block zero-kronor ärenden (ZERO_DEDUCTION); require sekelsiffra 16 on
12-digit brf orgnr in both schema validation and normalizeBrfOrgNr

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix: rename branch migrations off main's colliding versions

After the merge with main, two versions were shared by two files each
(20260702100000: rot_rut_payout_requests vs company_settings_dimensions_
enabled; 20260702130000: invoice_email_texts vs pending_operations_add_
create_dimension_value). psql-based CI applies by filename and doesn't
care, but Supabase branching records migrations by version (PK) — the
second file with the same version breaks the preview with a
schema_migrations_pkey duplicate. Neither branch migration is version-
recorded on staging or prod, so renaming to fresh 20260703 versions is
safe; nothing between the old and new positions depends on these objects.

* fix(security): scope the /api MFA-gate bypass to real Bearer-auth surfaces

Any Authorization header — attacker-controlled — used to skip the AAL2
gate for every /api route, so a stolen-password AAL1 cookie session could
reach cookie-authenticated routes (which ignore the header) by attaching
`Authorization: x`. The skip is now scoped to the surfaces whose auth
contract IS the header (/api/v1 API keys, the MCP endpoint's OAuth
tokens); pure Bearer callers elsewhere (cron secret, signed webhooks)
carry no cookie session and were never touched by the gate, which only
fires for cookie users. Superagent P2 on PR #878.

* test: normalize path separators in dimension statutory guard scan

The route scan compared walked file paths against a POSIX-path allowlist,
so the suite failed on Windows (backslash separators) while passing on
Linux CI. Normalize the scanned paths to forward slashes.

Jakob Wennberg fce6faff2c fix(api): stabilize report pagination + declare real { data, meta } envelope on v1 single/write endpoints (#811)
* fix(reports): stabilize fetchAllRows paging to stop doubled/dropped balances (#790, #791)

PostgREST `.range()` paging is only correct when the underlying query has a
stable TOTAL order. Several aggregating report queries (general ledger, trial
balance, grundbok, supplier/AR ledgers, etc.) paginated without `.order()`, so
on datasets larger than one 1000-row page Postgres could return rows in a
different order between requests — silently DUPLICATING or SKIPPING rows on a
page boundary and doubling or dropping financial totals.

- fetch-all.ts: document the ordering invariant and add an optional
`dedupeBy` defense-in-depth that drops cross-page duplicates and warns when
it fires (surfaces a missing `.order()` in logs instead of corrupting money).
- Add a stable `.order()` (line PK or account_number) to every paginated query
in lib/reports/ and the account-balances route; pass `dedupeBy` on the
  money-aggregating line queries.
- Add fetch-all unit tests and update report test fixtures to carry row ids.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(api): declare the real { data, meta } envelope on v1 single/write/204 endpoints (#794)

The OpenAPI generator derives each endpoint's documented body purely from its
registered `response.success` Zod schema, and that schema is never validated at
runtime — so a route could advertise a shape its handler never sends. #802
fixed this for list endpoints; the same drift was latent on single-resource and
write endpoints, which declared the bare resource schema instead of the
`{ data, meta }` envelope the handlers actually return.

- registry.ts: extend `ResponseMetaSchema` with the optional `audit` block and
`partial_expansions` list that writes/expansions emit; add the `NoBodyResponse`
sentinel so 204 DELETE handlers document a bare 204 instead of a phantom 200.
- Wrap every single/write endpoint's `response.success` in `dataEnvelope(...)`
(or `NoBodyResponse` for 204s) across the v1 routes.
- Add a response-envelope contract test that fails CI if any JSON endpoint
forgets to wrap its schema, with binary downloads and 204s as the only
  exemptions.

* fix(reports): extend paging dedupeBy to rc-basis-gaps and opening-balances

Address PR review: these two money-aggregating line queries already had the
stable `.order('id')` (so paging was correct) but didn't carry `id` in the
select, so they couldn't use the `dedupeBy` defense-in-depth that general-ledger
and trial-balance got. Select `id` and pass `dedupeBy: r => r.id` so the whole
report layer applies the ordering invariant consistently.

Jakob Wennberg 4253afc343 fix(company): validate user_preferences write when switching company (#708)
Fixes #701. setActiveCompany upserted active_company_id without checking
the result, then set the gnubok-company-id cookie unconditionally. A failed
write — including an RLS-filtered UPDATE, which affects zero rows without
raising an error — looked like a successful switch: switchCompany returned
{}, the UI hard-reloaded, and middleware (which reads user_preferences, not
the cookie) resolved the old company.

- setActiveCompany now verifies the upsert with .select().single() and
  throws a typed CompanyContextError ('not_member' | 'persist_failed');
the cookie is only set after the write is confirmed, so it can no longer
  diverge from the database.
- switchCompany logs the failure and returns distinct error codes instead
of reporting every failure as a permissions problem.
- CompanySwitcher now shows a destructive toast on failure (it previously
failed with no feedback); BankIdCompanyPicker translates the codes.
Messages added to sv/en under company_switcher and select_company.
- The remaining fire-and-forget user_preferences writers (middleware
fallback write-back, team invite accept, auth callback invite accept)
now check and log errors; non-fatal by design since each has a working
  fallback path.
- New tests cover every failure mode, including cookie-not-set on a failed
write and the silent zero-row write caught by the read-back.

Jakob Wennberg cc351158f8 Invoicing & account-security polish bundle (#550)
* feat: invoicing & account-security polish bundle

Five independent improvements bundled to ship together:

- BankID/password lockout fix: BankID-only users could enroll MFA and
brick themselves (Supabase requires AAL2 to change password or unenroll
  MFA, and AAL2 needs a password sign-in). New app_metadata.has_password
flag tracks this; middleware gates /mfa/enroll behind it, /account/set-
password is the unlock path, SecuritySettings shows a banner, and
/api/account/password is the single write path that flips the flag.
  Backfill script for existing users.

- Swish invoice payment method: company_settings.swish + invoice_show_swish
columns, validation in lib/api/schemas.ts (accepts 123XXXXXXX företag or
07XXXXXXXX mobile, strips whitespace/hyphens), rendered on invoice PDFs.

- Send-reminders kill switch: per-company company_settings.send_invoice_
reminders toggle in PdfPrintSettings/Automatisering. Reminder processor
also tightened: positive status allowlist (sent + overdue) so terminal
statuses can never match; skip when customer already responded via
reminder link; race-window re-check before send.

- First-invoice logo prompt: one-shot dialog when creating the first
invoice without a logo (issue #520). Self-limits via head-only count.

- SIE export opening-balance fallback: route IB through getOpeningBalances
so the compute_prior_opening_balances RPC supplies #IB after multi-year
imports where opening_balance_entry_id is intentionally NULL. Previously
#IB silently went to zero and #UB collapsed to current-period movements.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix(account-polish): address PR review feedback

- BankID-link path (extensions/general/tic/index.ts): read-merge-write
  app_metadata instead of passing { bankid_linked: true } alone.
updateUserById REPLACES app_metadata wholesale, so the previous code
would have wiped has_password for any user who later linked BankID,
causing the set-password banner to (incorrectly) reappear and blocking
the standard MFA enrollment button. The comment is now corrected.

- Middleware (lib/supabase/middleware.ts): thread inner returnTo through
the /mfa/enroll → /account/set-password redirect so the user lands on
their original destination after the full chain completes, not on /.

- safeReturnTo helper (lib/auth/safe-return-to.ts): replace the
  starts-with-/-but-not-// guard on mfa/enroll and set-password pages.
The previous guard let /\evil.com and /@evil.com through. The new
helper parses against a synthetic base origin and verifies it matches.

- set-password page (app/(auth)/account/set-password/page.tsx): remove
CLAUDE.md design system violations — bg-gradient-to-b on page bg,
inline shadow-md style on the card, space-y-5, font-medium on the h1,
rounded-xl on the card. Flat surface, hairline border, font-display
  h1 per the design tokens.

- Swish dedup (lib/payments/swish.ts): extract normaliseSwish() and
isValidSwish() helpers and use them in lib/api/schemas.ts,
  components/settings/BankDetailsForm.tsx, and the invoicing settings
page. Single source of truth for the regex.

- Password route (app/api/account/password/route.ts): emit a structured
success log so the audit pipeline can detect password-set events, not
  just failures.

Jakob Wennberg 37ccda5cad feat(api): v1 invoice :send + bulk-create (Phase 2 PR-B-2b-3 + PR-B-2c) (#458)
* feat(api): v1 invoice :send + bulk-create action verbs (Phase 2 PR-B-2b-3 + PR-B-2c)

Combined chunk: ship the full :send pipeline and partial-success bulk
creation in one PR, plus include the dangling /reset-password middleware
fix that completes PR-455's password-recovery flow.

POST /api/v1/companies/:companyId/invoices/:id/send
Full send pipeline mirroring the internal route, hardened for the public
API surface: email-configured check, draft-only guard, cancelled /
  delivery-note / credit-note / missing-moms_ruta rejections, customer
  email check, company-settings fetch, F-series invoice-number allocation
(atomic at :send per ML 17 kap 24§ p.2, not at draft create), preflight
PDF render before number consumption, final PDF render, email send,
point-of-no-return status flip, BFL 5 kap journal entry, document
archival, invoice.sent event emit. Post-send failures (journal entry,
archive) surface via a `warnings` array rather than failing the response
  — the invoice IS sent at that point. Dry-run validates the pipeline +
preflight PDF without allocating a number or hitting the provider.
  Error codes: INVOICE_SEND_EMAIL_NOT_CONFIGURED (503),
  INVOICE_SEND_NO_CUSTOMER_EMAIL / _CANCELLED /
  _COMPANY_SETTINGS_MISSING (400), INVOICE_UPDATE_NOT_DRAFT (409),
  INVOICE_SEND_PDF_RENDER_FAILED / _NUMBER_ASSIGN_FAILED (500),
  INVOICE_SEND_PROVIDER_FAILED (502).

POST /api/v1/companies/:companyId/invoices/bulk-create
Batch create up to 50 invoices in a single call, sequential processing,
partial success: `{ results: [{ ok, request_index, data?, error? }],
summary: { total, succeeded, failed } }`. Per-item rollback on items
insert failure (delete the parent invoice row). Emits invoice.created
per success. Dry-run wraps results in a preview without inserting.
`all_or_nothing` is accepted but reserved for a future PR.

lib/supabase/middleware.ts
Add /reset-password bypass before the authenticated-user redirect so
password-recovery sessions don't bounce to '/'. This should have landed
in PR-455 — the `git add 'app/(auth)'` filter missed the middleware
file at lib/. Without this the recovery email link silently fails for
  the recipient.

Tests: 14 new integration tests across both routes (happy path,
provider failure, scope rejection, draft-only guard, dry-run shape,
bulk partial-success, max-50 enforcement, validation error). Full suite
green (3207 passing, 1 unrelated pre-existing pg-real failure).

* fix(api): address PR #458 review — :send + bulk-create hardening

Greptile P1: silent zero-row update after email delivery.
PostgREST returns { error: null } on 0-row UPDATEs. The post-email
status flip used `.eq('status', 'draft')` as an optimistic lock but
never inspected the row count, so a concurrent state change (race,
double-send from another session) would leave the DB row in 'draft'
while the response claimed 'sent' and the email was already gone.
  Fix: `.select('id')` after the update and check `flipRows.length`;
on 0-row miss, push STATUS_UPDATE_FAILED warning AND change the
response status to 'draft' so the caller can reconcile.

Greptile P1: re-read error swallowed; invoice_number could vanish
  from the response.
After ensureInvoiceNumber, the re-read query destructured only `data`,
silently dropping `error`. A transient connection failure would leave
`numbered` null and `finalInvoiceNumber` undefined; JSON serialization
would then omit the field, violating the documented response schema.
Fix: capture `reReadErr`, log a warning, fall back to typed.invoice_number
(which was just written by the RPC and is authoritative in-memory).
Apply the same fallback at the top-level `ok()` call.

Greptile P2 + Compliance Swarm V2.3 + Swedish-compliance kreditfaktura:
  reject credit notes from :send.
The :credit endpoint creates credit notes atomically in 'sent' state
with their own number — there is no v1 path that produces a draft
credit note, so reaching :send with credited_invoice_id set is misuse
or manual DB editing. Allowing it would assign an F-series number to
a kreditfaktura (ML 17 kap 22–23§ require a distinct kreditfaktura
series and a back-reference that this route would not enforce). Fix:
reject with VALIDATION_ERROR pointing at /credit. Removes a stretch
of dead code (originalInvoiceNumber lookup, kreditfaktura filename
branch) that can never execute now.

Greptile P2: all_or_nothing: true silently treated as false.
A caller asking for atomic semantics must not get partial-success
behaviour with no runtime signal. Fix: reject with new
  NOT_IMPLEMENTED error (501) plus a details.field pointer. Schema
still accepts the flag for forward compatibility once a DB-side RPC
ships. New error code added to lib/errors/structured-errors.ts.

Tests: 3 new integration cases (credit-note rejection, status-flip
no-op warning, all_or_nothing 501). Suite green: 3218 passing.
Build clean, lint clean.

* fix(api): PR #458 follow-up — defense-in-depth + comment precision

OWASP V8.2.1 (bulk-create): use DB-returned customer.id at insert time
instead of input.customer_id. The .eq() pair already enforces company
scoping at fetch, but echoing the trusted value from the query makes
the guarantee explicit at the call site and immune to refactoring
drift. Same change in the dry-run preview shape.

Swedish-compliance wording: the credit-note rejection comment now
spells out BOTH ML 17 kap 22–23§ requirements — distinct kreditfaktura
series AND explicit back-reference to the original invoice's
löpnummer — so any future v1 path that does support credit-note send
  starts from a complete spec.

Company-settings select: kept select('*') with an explanatory comment
rather than enumerating columns. The InvoicePDF template consumes the
full CompanySettings shape; a partial allow-list risks silently breaking
rendering, and the table has no sensitive columns today (API tokens,
billing data live in scoped tables). Documents the trade-off so the
  next reviewer doesn't re-litigate.

Deliberately not changed:
  - Math.round → Math.trunc on VAT öre: CLAUDE.md mandates Math.round
project-wide; unilateral deviation here would diverge from the
    bookkeeping engine and POST /invoices.
  - 207 Multi-Status on partial post-email failures: gnubok's convention
is warnings[] in the 200 envelope; a per-route status divergence
would break the response contract clients rely on.
  - Wrapper membership double-check (OWASP V8.2.1 send route): the
withApiV1 wrapper sets ctx.companyId from the URL after the
membership check — recurring false positive in this swarm.

Tests + build + lint clean. 17/17 in the touched suites.

Jakob Wennberg ab63da8324 test: add real-Postgres smoke gate (pg-real) (#357)
* test: add real-Postgres smoke gate (pg-real)

Mocked Supabase tests cannot exercise triggers, RPCs, or RLS policies —
a migration that drops enforce_period_lock, mangles user_company_ids(),
or weakens an RLS policy ships green today. Closes that gap with a
small Vitest project `pg-real` running 5 smoke tests against a real
supabase/postgres:15 container in CI.

Covers: closed-period INSERT rejection, commit_journal_entry voucher
atomicity under concurrency, posted-entry immutability, RLS tenant
isolation on journal_entries, and audit_log UPDATE/DELETE rejection.

Also lands the bankid anonymization migration that was sitting
untracked from a prior task.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* test(pg-real): fix storage schema bootstrap + de-scope + PR review fixes

- Drop bankid anonymization migration from this PR. That change is
separate scope (and has open compliance questions flagged by the
Swedish review bot on #357); it will land in its own PR.
- Add tests/pg/bootstrap.sql to align storage.buckets/objects/foldername
with what migrations expect before the replay loop. The supabase/postgres
image ships only a partial storage schema; the rest comes from the
storage-api service at runtime, which CI does not run. First pg-real run
failed at migration 24 on "column public of relation buckets does not exist".
- Add concurrency group to the workflow so stacked PR commits cancel
  in-progress runs instead of queueing.
- Gate the pg-real vitest project on DATABASE_URL so a bare `vitest run`
with no DB configured runs only the unit project. npm run test:pg is
  the opt-in entry point.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* test(pg-real): widen JWT claim setup so auth.uid() resolves under RLS

The rls.pg test came back with 0 rows instead of 1 — user_company_ids()
returned empty because auth.uid() didn't resolve to the seeded user.
Two fixes:
- Set both request.jwt.claims (whole object) and request.jwt.claim.sub
(individual claim). Different Supabase auth.uid() versions read one or
  the other.
- Assert auth.uid() = expected userId immediately after the context
switch, so the next failure points at the right layer instead of an
  unrelated empty-result assertion.

Jakob Wennberg f3a3d07ed3 feat: one-click company setup from BankID directorships (#309)
* feat: one-click company setup from BankID directorships

After BankID auth, surface Bolagsverket companies where the user is a
director and provision a fully-configured gnubok company with one click
instead of walking the 4-step wizard. Also exposed via CompanySwitcher's
"Lägg till företag" for returning users.

- New /select-company route merges gnubok memberships with TIC
CompanyRoles; cards flag already-registered org numbers.
- createCompanyFromTicRole server action derives entity_type, f-skatt,
VAT, moms_period, and SPAR address defaults, then delegates to
  createCompanyFromOnboarding for consistent provisioning.
- TIC /bankid/complete now requests enrichment on login too, so
returning users see fresh CompanyRoles in the picker.
- Middleware routes zero-membership users to /select-company when
  enrichment is available, /onboarding otherwise.
- Inline enrichment picker removed from WelcomeOnboarding (wizard is
now the manual fallback); SPAR address pre-fill preserved.
- Unit tests for mapEntityType helper and createCompanyFromTicRole
defaults (VAT-AB, non-VAT EF, unmappable, unauth).

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix: address PR review feedback on BankID company picker

Greptile P1 + swedish-compliance bot findings:

- Move enrichment row cleanup out of createCompanyFromOnboarding and
into createCompanyFromTicRole. The manual wizard also goes through
createCompanyFromOnboarding, and was wiping the enrichment row before
the returning-user "Lägg till företag" flow could use it.
- Refuse to provision when TIC /lookup is missing. Silently defaulting
vat_registered to false for a momsregistrerat bolag would create a
company that issues invoices without moms (ML 17 kap violation). The
picker now routes to the manual wizard with org_number pre-filled
when the lookup fails, so the user confirms VAT/F-skatt manually.
- Default accounting_method by entity type: enskild firma → cash
  (K1/kontantmetoden per BFNAR 2013:2), aktiebolag → accrual (K2/K3).
- Document that moms_period='quarterly' is a provisional middle-tier
default; Skatteverket's assigned period depends on turnover and the
user can correct it in /settings/tax.
- Fix the misleading "re-fetch from BankID" comment — /select-company
only reads the cached enrichment row; it's refreshed only on the next
  BankID auth.
- Extend test coverage: lookup-missing refusal, EF kontantmetoden default.

* fix: tighten entity-type mapping and clarify K1 threshold

Second round of PR review fixes (swedish-compliance bot):

- mapEntityType now uses explicit allow-lists instead of substring
matches. "Enskild stiftelse" / "Enskild näringsverksamhet utan firma"
no longer false-match as enskild_firma (would have provisioned with
K1/kontantmetoden — ML/BFL risk). Regression guard test added.
- Publikt aktiebolag explicitly included (same K2/K3 regime as private
AB); Bankaktiebolag / Försäkringsaktiebolag excluded (FFFS regime).
- Remove misleading claim that onboarding UI flags moms_period as
provisional — no such UI exists by design (approved one-click UX).
- Expand accounting_method comment to cite the 3 MSEK K1→K3 threshold
(BFNAR 2013:2 vs 2017:3) so the EF→cash default is honest about its
  scope.

Mattsson 11621bb79f Feat/skv integration full (#284)
* feat: add script to import Skatteverket monthly tax tables as fallback TypeScript module

- Implemented a new script `import-tax-tables.ts` to parse fixed-width TXT tax tables from Skatteverket (SKV 434).
- The script generates a TypeScript module for emergency fallback when the Skatteverket open-data API is unavailable.
- Supports command-line argument for specifying the year and handles parsing of B-rows only.
- Outputs a structured TypeScript file containing tax data for specified years.

* feat: gate salary module behind dev-only flag

Temporarily disable the Lön module in production while the feature is
being completed. Sidebar entries ("Löner", "Anställda") still render but
are not clickable and show a "Kommer snart" badge. Middleware redirects
/salary* to / and returns 404 on /api/salary/* so the feature can't be
reached by direct URL. All gates check NODE_ENV === 'development' so
local dev keeps full access for continued development.

- Create API routes for deleting accounts and companies, including necessary validations and event emissions.
- Implement tests for account and company deletion endpoints to ensure proper functionality and error handling.
- Add retention notice component to inform users about bookkeeping data retention during destructive actions.
- Create database migrations to support soft deletion of companies and anonymization of user accounts, ensuring compliance with retention laws.

* feat: enhance account deletion process and update user notifications

* Add service client for onboarding completion check and update escape hatch visibility

* Enhance invite flow and email handling for company members

* Refactor company context and RLS policies for active company isolation

- Update `switchCompany` to remove unnecessary revalidation as client handles navigation.
- Revise `getActiveCompanyId` to prioritize `user_preferences` and validate against non-archived memberships.
- Modify `setActiveCompany` to ensure `user_preferences` is the authoritative source while maintaining cookie compatibility.
- Enhance middleware to resolve active company using `user_preferences` and fallback to first non-archived membership.
- Introduce new API route `/api/company/current` to fetch the active company ID for cross-tab synchronization.
- Implement `CompanyTabSync` component for real-time active company enforcement across tabs.
- Create migration for RLS policies to enforce single-active-company isolation using `current_active_company_id()`.

* feat: implement viewer role enforcement for write permissions

- Added `useCanWrite` hook to determine if the current user has write permissions based on their role in the active company.
- Updated various components (JournalEntryForm, CustomerForm, DeadlineForm, etc.) to disable write actions and show a lock icon with a tooltip for users without write permissions.
- Introduced `requireWritePermission` function to enforce write permissions at the API level, returning a 403 response for viewers.
- Created tests to verify the behavior of the viewer role and write permissions.
- Added database migration to enforce read-only access for viewers at the database level.

Jakob Wennberg 6d75b9a1bf feat: BankID authentication via TIC Identity API (#192)
* feat: add BankID authentication via TIC Identity API

Integrate BankID as a login/signup method using the TIC Identity API.
Users can authenticate with BankID QR codes (desktop) or deep links (mobile),
link BankID to existing accounts, and skip TOTP MFA when BankID is linked.
Removes Step 0 (role choice) from onboarding for all users. Adds enrichment
data support for pre-filling company details from Bolagsverket during signup.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix: address PR review — server-side rate limit, unlink clears MFA bypass

- Add per-IP rate limit (5s cooldown) on /bankid/start to prevent
unbounded billable TIC sessions from unauthenticated callers
- Add /bankid/unlink endpoint that deletes bankid_identities AND clears
app_metadata.bankid_linked so MFA enforcement resumes after unlink
- Update BankIdSettings to call server-side unlink instead of client-side delete

Mattsson 109f860e22 Sandbox (#8)
* feat: add sandbox infrastructure — migration, types, and middleware

Add database migration for sandbox support:
- Add `is_sandbox` boolean column to company_settings
- Update 4 enforcement trigger functions (journal entry immutability,
journal entry line immutability, retention enforcement, document
deletion blocking) to bypass checks for sandbox users
- Add `cleanup_sandbox_user()` SECURITY DEFINER function that handles
  FK-safe deletion order (document_attachments → journal_entry_lines →
  journal_entries → supplier_invoices → auth.users cascade)
- Add `cleanup_expired_sandbox_users()` function that loops over
sandbox users older than N hours with per-user error handling

Update TypeScript types:
- Add `is_sandbox: boolean` to CompanySettings interface
- Add `is_sandbox: false` to makeCompanySettings() test factory

Update middleware:
- Add `/sandbox` to public routes so the landing page is accessible
  without authentication

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat: add sandbox landing page, seed API, cleanup cron, and banner

Sandbox landing page (app/sandbox/page.tsx):
- Client component matching the existing auth page aesthetic
- Auth check: if logged in as real user, shows message to use incognito
- Otherwise shows feature overview (invoices, transactions, bookkeeping,
  reports) with "Starta sandbox" button
- On click: signInAnonymously() → POST /api/sandbox/seed → redirect
- Uses window.location.href for full page load (ensures middleware
  picks up new session cookies)

Seed API (app/api/sandbox/seed/route.ts):
- POST handler gated to anonymous users only (403 for real users)
- Idempotent: returns { seeded: false } if company_settings exists
- Seeds ~40 rows: profile, company_settings (is_sandbox: true,
onboarding_complete: true), chart of accounts (via RPC),
fiscal period, 3 customers (Swedish business, EU business,
  individual), 4 invoices (paid/sent/overdue/draft), 4 invoice
items, 2 posted journal entries with 5 lines, 8 transactions
  (3 categorized, 2 income, 3 uncategorized), 2 deadlines
- Journal entries inserted directly (not via engine) to avoid
  event emission, using next_voucher_number() RPC

Cleanup cron (app/api/sandbox/cleanup/cron/route.ts):
- GET handler with CRON_SECRET Bearer token auth
- Creates service role Supabase client
- Calls cleanup_expired_sandbox_users RPC (24h default)

Sandbox banner (components/dashboard/SandboxBanner.tsx):
- Amber bar with dismiss button (client state, reappears on reload)
- Text: "Sandlådemiljö — dina data raderas automatiskt efter 24 timmar"
- "Skapa konto" link to /register

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* feat: integrate sandbox into dashboard — banner, nav, settings safeguards

Dashboard layout (app/(dashboard)/layout.tsx):
- Fetch is_sandbox from company_settings
- Render SandboxBanner at top of page for sandbox users
- Pass isSandbox prop to DashboardNav
- Hide RecaptIdentify analytics for sandbox users

Root page (app/page.tsx):
- Same sandbox banner and isSandbox prop treatment as dashboard layout
(root page has its own layout, not wrapped by (dashboard)/layout)

DashboardNav (components/dashboard/DashboardNav.tsx):
- Add optional isSandbox prop
- Change logout button text to "Avsluta sandbox" when isSandbox
- Redirect to /sandbox instead of /login on logout for sandbox users
- Applied to both desktop sidebar and mobile drawer logout buttons

Settings page (app/(dashboard)/settings/page.tsx):
- Hide "Bank (PSD2)" tab entirely for sandbox users — prevents
connecting real bank accounts from a temporary anonymous session
- Hide "Radera konto" card for sandbox users — account auto-deletes
via cron, and the delete flow requires email confirmation

Vercel config (vercel.json):
- Add sandbox cleanup cron at 04:00 UTC daily
  (/api/sandbox/cleanup/cron)

* fix: remove audit trigger for non-existent tax_codes table

Migration 018 referenced public.tax_codes which was never created
(migration 012 is a placeholder). This caused failures when running
migrations from scratch on a fresh database.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix: remove ALTER FUNCTION for 3 non-existent functions

Removed search_path pinning for create_invoice_with_items,
seed_asset_categories, and update_reconciliation_session_counts —
none of these functions were ever created in any migration.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>

* fix: remove ALTER for generate_invoice_number (created in later migration)

The function is created in migration 20260306 with search_path already
set, but migration 20260304 tried to ALTER it before it existed.
